Starting with an eerie overdrive arpeggio, followed by a substantially tense opening, this song is encapsulating the chaotic world that we live in. Themed mostly around war and tendency of human nature to attack and destroy each other for the gain of those in power, Pandemonium is an extreme emotional response to our frustration.

This song is written to express the deep personal emotions of the band towards the abusive use of power in hands of those who meant to protect us using their authority, however they choose to oppress the people with fear, Idiocracy and manipulation tactics. 

The use of colours in the video symbolises the masks put on people by the mainstream beliefs and factions from a young age, although there are many underlying meanings and messages in the video, which have been left to each individual’s interpretation. 

Society consists of individuals and it’s up to them to make their personal decisions in a free world. One person can change the world. One idea can destroy it. We need more free thinking intelligent individuals to lead the next generation to have a better understanding about how to avoid being a social puppet.

Faith By The Sword

In a city surrounded by fear and destruction, a girl protected by a tree stands up to protest against the king, who rules the city with fear and death.

Fear The Fearless was written at a time when our drummer was going through a really rough period dealing with unstable people. Threats of physical violence and antisocial behaviour were common place. The song is centered around the crushing fear and anxiety he used to feel when going to work and feeling trapped because of having no alternative at the time. The song finishes on dealing with the issue in a strong way and remain functional.

Quantum Umbrella

Nucleust incorporates four passion driven musicians who strive to deliver what can be classified as heavy odd music comprising of unpredictable combinations of metal riffs and motives. Having been inspired by a diverse range of genres from Classical Music to Doom/Goth Metal, from Thrash to Death Metal, and from Jazz to Progressive Rock/Metal, Nucleust creates music, which is a reflection of what is happening in the real world through their own screaming critique, backed by a distinctive sound of extreme 7 & 6 string guitar riffs, massive crunchy bass sounds and groovy heavy drum patterns.

Since starting the band in 2013, Nucleust has gained momentum steadily. With the release of the first track “Whisper”, the band had attracted attention from both local and global metal communities. Following the release of their second track “Pandemonium”, Nucleust was introduced to the US market through Heavy Metal radio station, “The Heaviest Matter In The Universe”. 

The band entered into the local scene on December 10th 2013 with their debut live show and has developed a solid fan base since then. As a result of the trending popularity amongst metal fans, they then attracted the attention of Blunt Magazine to feature “Whisper (Blunt Edition)” on the cover CD of the April 2014 issue. 

Nucleust then hit the studio to record their debut E.P at Sovereign studios in July 2014 recording a six track release titled “Fractured Equilibrium” which was released on November 8th 2014 at the Amplifier Capitol venue in Perth. 

The band’s views on Politics, Religion, Media, Education and Human condition in General has led them to create a particularly personal song/video “FAITH BY THE SWORD” which they believe relates to every person in the world.
