We've got a trio of top shelf remixes that we packaged up for your consumption. Some of the best and brightest in the melodic deep house game are on offer here: Lian July, Chris Domingo, and KIWAMU.

We start off with Lian's take on Chris Domingo's “Steady”. She bounces the bassline to create an immediately memorable groove, with impeccable work in the breakdown to bring out the essence of the vocals and bass. Long reverb tails turn the vocals into their own haunting entity. This is a super fresh take on the original, and we've already confirmed that it works wonders on the dancefloor!

Next, Chris tags off and does his deep tech thing to Anthony Mea's “Something Is Wrong”. Spaced way out with reverb-drenched stingers and vocal hits, a number of propellant bass layers give massive weight to the original groove. Incredible refinement is to be found in all the sound design in this tune! It's a deep wanderer that'll keep feet moving without a doubt.

Finally, we have sunshine in a bottle, delivered courtesy of KIWAMU's remix of Blood Groove & Kikis' “Feeling”. Chords and pads are the name of the game here, along with some captivating chopped-up vocals to present a wonderfully upbeat tune. Funky bass fits in perfectly to seal up the mood!

Nafta & Ennea hit the mark again with another rich, vivid EP. “Pygmy” shows us why they are the masters of deep, abiding chill deep house. The title track presents a gentle mood, replete with fantastic nature samples and a great arpeggiated lead. Chord stabs uplift and set everything into place. On the flipside, “Monsoon” is a lush swirl of sound design: trilling looped vocal samples, percussion just so, and a lead synth that soars out of the bedrock when the filter opens. These guys are the keepers of untold talent, and “Pygmy” is another fine notch in their belt!

Dynamic duo Chris Domingo & Miss T are it again via Nuevadeep, with yet another stacked EP - “Better”. The title track is fully present in their well-carved style: a deep, thrumming affair soaked in stripped down house flavour. Miss T's vocals punch through a relentless groove with decisive clarity, presenting an opportune dancefloor blender. 

The first remix is a hypnotic wonder by Chris' fellow Orlando-dweller Atnarko, a veteran in the house trenches. The drawn-out intro teases us with some of the tight loop work to come in the body of the track, which features a surprisingly bouncey bassline. A poignant arpeggiated lead shifts the mood into something a bit more serious, for a melange that's a rare treat to hear.

Next, Calgary talent Matt Caine puts his techy touch on the matter at hand. With an ear for deep house that's incredibly consistent, he treats us a dreamy ride courtesy of a pulsing pad and a brand new bassline with a delightfully twisty filter. Heavily delayed synths ride things out for a great poolside listening experience.

Being the artists' artists that they are, included on the EP to round things out are Dub and Acoustic mixes. The former pulls back on the vocals and lightens the mood a bit, providing a great transition piece. The Acoustic is a fun, chopped up cut that serves as an excellent DJ tool/layering opportunity, something that can really mix up the flow of a set!

Our 90th release features remixes of Progreg's "Give Me Tonight", both turning up the heat in novel ways. 

Firstly, label newcomer Another Ambition cranks out a peak hour stomper, infusing the original melody with a new sense of urgency courtesy of a more aggressive bass and lots of small looping elements. The new lead synth introduced perfectly crystallizes the breakdown and soars off into the distance! We're excited to have this as only the first entry in his logbook with Nuevadeep.

Max Hydra rounds out the release with a techier, somewhat oldschool interpretation – the bassline is done anew with a ton of bounce, and a piano lead seals in the flavour. Nice percussion fills and drops give the track a feel of constantly shifting, never staying in a single loop for too long. Yet another dancefloor smasher for the arsenal!

Alex Pich makes his debut on Nuevadeep with a beautiful number called "Violet". Some prog groundwork is laid down with a nice bassline and a memorable lead, excellent vocoder work and a constantly evolving mood. Anturage takes things a bit deeper on the remix, with a twist on the lead and a more bare-metal feel.

Next up on our calendar is a robust EP from Ev3rsun – full of deep, techy goodness. “Just 2 Find Out” includes two stellar originals along with a remix from powerhouse Dustin Nantais, punching seriously above its weight.

“Always a Light” starts us off with a rolling delayed guitar line, and is fleshed out with a moody pad and nice groovy tom percussion. The classic vocal samples tie everything together for a smooth listen.

The title track “Just 2 Find Out” makes use of shimmering high notes along with a looped pad to open things up. A classy piano lead soon takes over, with lots of atmosphere covering the background space and a chopped up vocal for an effective chorus. Snappy percussion rounds things out to create a worthy deep house experience.

Finally, Dustin takes us even deeper and darker with his remix. Pad swells emanate all around, with the sax sample clearing the way for the main groove. When the punchy analog bass kicks in, there's no doubt as to the intent of this beast: we're in for a journey. During the breakdown, we're treated to a glitchy arp that twists things up beautifully. The haunting vocal line echoes out from the void, accompanied by lush melodies. This is the highest calibre of deep house to be had!

Hot on the heels of his first Nuevadeep release, a thumping remix of Progreg's “Give Me Tonight”, Another Ambition returns with his first original for us - "Neon Nights". It's a synth-heavy affair, with a strong up-front bassline and catchy arp lead that unpacks into an incredibly infectious loop. Driving percussion and spacious stingers round out the groove on this melodic number – he's definitely made his mark with this one!

Polish talent Cast Away put together a 3-track EP entitled “Warsaw Outdoors” that certainly caught our ear. House vibes are in full effect, and great difficulty will be encountered in trying to stop your foot from tapping!

“La Douleur Exquise” starts off on the right footing, with a tight groove highlighted by a playful arpeggiated lead. A looped vocal sample gets some work done, giving that nice classic touch.

Next, “One To Wait” mines a similarly rich vein, with a great bass chord progression and vox samples that move a bit more. Techy percussion gives it nice movement, and the horn synth seems perfectly placed every time it pops up.

Wrapping things up, “Take It or Leave It” does justice to the house sound: the pairing of vox with lead synth is immensely satisfying, with great filter flourishes on the bass. The stabs near the end seal the deal, making this one for the books. It's got great bounce, and is sure to make fellow house-heads happy!

As the summer season transitions into fall, Nuevadeep wants to shift gears for our next release with the wonderfully deep "6 AM" EP from Dutch artist Fr3n3my. The title track takes its time with a drawn-out intro, filtered pad swells echoing out alongside fantastic vox samples. A tight rolling bass delivers a solid chord progression once the groove kicks in, with minor stabs influencing the evolving mood. A variety of percussion is used with sparing grace to fill out the soundscape, along with nature samples and a playful arp somewhere in the background. Turn this one up a bit for maximum enjoyment! On the flipside we've got Between Dreams: a punchy kick rolls forward with a warm bassline, accompanied by slick spacious claps and other assorted drumwork. A squelchy lead peeks out of deep melodic fields, playfully answering the call of delayed stabs. This is a cohesive EP by a rising talent, and we look forward to seeing more from him!

This year, our annual Into The Deep compilation is centered around the turn of the season. Vol. 2 is comprised of 4 tracks representing the spectrum of moods.

Kingoff's “Over You” is a groovy vocal number with a nice warm bassline and a dreamy arpeggio twinkling overtop of a slick package. Class deep house vibes are thoroughly in effect!

A pulsing stab lends an air of wonder to the opening of Bordland's “Auroral”. Returning from Vol. 1 last year, he lends his ear to this cruiser of a track. Stripping things back and mostly staying on top of the groove, he expertly weaves in filter cuts and transients to craft a most excellent wanderer.

Back with their second track on Nuevadeep, Somedays have another juicy cut on offer: “Never on Time”. Sculpting some fantastic notions with tightly looping elements and techy highs, the home run is delivered with that plaintive pluck in the breakdown and beyond. Uptempo and bouncy!

Tom Strobe has the honour of closing duties here, and we're treated to a fine melange of driving bassline, vox samples and singular sax lines! “Mojito” is certainly best enjoyed with one in your hand, although not spilling it might be a tall order. This is a fine dancefloor track, whether warming up or keeping the energy going!

Welcoming Elisbert into the fold for our 97th release, “Anabiosis” has a wonderfully deep feel to it. A beautiful piano line accompanies haunting synth melodies for a timeless progressive feel. The lead can't help but instill emotion in the listener, tugging at the heartstrings so! This is already a favourite of the year.
