'Bunker Funk' , an original from Gutterstylz, follows suit with a tightly rhythmic, but spaciously melodic, progressive track with a touch of that rolling bass that keeps pounding away. 

With #3, Adam Oland, follows up with his 'Love On The Dancefloor' interpretation, a sonicallyexpanded take that includes added synths lines to the crispy baseline. 

Morttagua finishes us off with his mind bending remix of 'Bunker Funk',complete with all the ear candy you could hope for flying around the melodic themes and heavy hitting percussion.

FTRB Miami: WMC Edition debuts some hot tracks for those hot Miami nights from Ilya Malyuev under his Baltic Sound guise, Tech house wonder Mesteks and a well polished tech-minimal monster from one of our favourites Rodrigo Deem who teamed up with Marcos Destefanis, Romanian producer Stereopole, gorgeous progressive sounds from Dunkan and newly signed talent's Aleksey Yakovlev, Armando Biz and Javier Penna as well a fun deep house track from Turkish duo Mehmet Akar & Orcun Uner who kick off the mixed version.  
 
Stan Kolev puts the finishing touches on the compilation as he personally created an exclusive track featuring the dub version and the ethereal ethnic vocals from Turkish folk signer Albena Veskova with that signature Stank Kolev sound.  Later on in the year will see a full release of Stan Kolev feat. Albena Veskova - Divine Intervention w/ accompanying remixes.

E-Spectro &amp; Trox - You Call It Magic w/ Glenn Morrison, Beat Factory &amp; Nick Tomassetti Remixes


Nueva's first original vocal signing comes from the land of premium vodka, snow and apparently great progressive talent!  E-Spectro together with vocal talent Trox turn in an emotional track that pulsates with Trox's stylized signature sound.  Blurring the lines from Progressive to Trance and already featured by Darin Epsilon on his radio show Perspectives we've done it again and brought in the big gun Glenn Morrison as he turns this on it's head and creates a pure crossover house bomb.  Next up we have good friends of the recent B018 and Downtown Story follow up with a great progressive effort bringing out the guitar and adding the right amount of percussion in both the vocal and instrumental mixes.  rounding out the package is the winner of the massive remix contest we had culminating in over 70 remixes, it was quite hard to narrow this down but Nick Tomassetti brings home the mix with a very Kaskade-like effort.

with a new arrangement to build the energy up to the vocal drop. The style of the track is reminiscent of 
Audien's massive 'Wayfarer' track, and equally harmonic! ND friend Blugazer provides his take with a catchy 
and groove-able percussive rhythms, backed by an epic break/bridge in between choruses and angelic voices. 
Finally, Jayeson Andel, master of many styles, this time goes with a hard-hitting club remix that captivates

[ND133] Gregory Esayan - People Of The New World (Blugazer Remix)

Blood Groove & Kikis are here hot off the success of their debut album "Wonderland" and on Nuevadeep with the "Never Ending" EP.   Their progressive groover 'Without You' comes along with two power-play remixes from Jon Bach and Talamanca which push the beach house vibe and deeper brooding prog-trance twist.   The original has already made a statment of its own on a recent Nueva compilation and is now back to rattle our speakers for what seems like the umpteenth time; BG&K really understand traditional progressive house.  Jon Bach has been a recent contributor to Nueva and we really enjoy his take on this one.  With a summer beach vibe that puts relaxation up to a whole new level this is definitely one to shut the world out.  Finally we come to Talamanca's remix with it's tight balance between powerful full range chords and fluttering upper synths.  We couldn't ask for anything better than this depth and warmth in this remix!

[ND149] Blood Groove & Kikis - Without You (Talamanca Remix)

Looking back on Year 1 here at Nueva Studios, it's been one of highs, lows and exceptional music, but most of all we were lucky enough to share the stage with and represent some of the best the industry has to offer from all over the  world including Argentina, Finland, Australia, Russia, Netherlands, UK, Poland, USA, Switzerland, Spain and of course our home base: Canada!Going back a few months we start off the compilation with one of our most successful releases featured on Marcus Schossow's Tone Diary, a remix from the talents of Eelke Kleijn as he makes musical genius out of Ilya Malyuev's Art Nouveau.  Next up Fusion F &amp; Come T's beautiful Begin Now was touched on by one of Nueva's favourite progressive talents Stan Kolev in his signature bouncy prog.Arguably one of Nueva's biggest signings to date we harnessed the progressive machine that is 16 Bit Lolitas as they produced a master piece of a remix on Beat Factory's B018!Making it onto the top 10 we venture to the UK and sought out Gutterstylz as he brings in a great prog-tech remix of PM Attitudes 'Samana'.  Vocal tracks can be tricky but Canadian Glenn Morrison churns out one of Nueva's most memorable remixes to date evoking a fun sun laden vibe that has major cross over appeal.  One of Netherlands most formidable progressive duos Fine Taste turned in a fantastic big room remix of Darin Epsilon's 'Samaritan Life'.This wouldn't be a top 10 compilation without mentioning this remix done by none other than Chris Reece on Noel Sanger's 'Zero Discipline' also featured by Matt Darey on In The Mix recently.  The remix is such a proficient floor shaker and we hope you share our same sentiment.Early on in the year we released a sleeper of a hit by the name of 'Electron' from Swedish duo Bastards of Funk &amp; Sonic Union, this was given to Cid Inc to do his..well..Cid Inc thing, and boy did here give us a floor destroying remix.Speaking of destroying floors, this man has been doing that for a long time and we know quality when we say Thomas Penton made mince meat out of Yan Lhert &amp; Anthony Rosses deep tech 'Just Passing Through'!Last, but not least, is one of our favourite crossover progressive tracks with a  tinge of trancy-ness thrown in by yet another uber talented Canadian artist Alucard in his original 'Dancing Under The Stars'.

Darin Epsilon - Samaritan Life (Fine Taste Remix) [Nueva Digital 025]

After some time on the From The Record Bag: New York release, Zack Roth is back with his single Sleep Talking along with two distinct remixes from Andy Bianchini and Eddie Bitz. The original has the classic progressive house we all know and love, Andy takes brings his blend of progressive trance and complextro, and Eddie hits it home with a bass groove and a smacking drum line for those inclined to the tech-infused sounds.

Zack Roth - Sleep Talking (Original Mix) [ND156]

Nueva Digital's infamous 'From The Record Bag' returns after Stan Kolev gave us his best Miami influence we now chart across the Atlantic to Jolly ol' England with one of Progressive's most meteoric talents Ad Brown.  We are just beside ourselves tat Ad would take time out to not only mix and compile 9 unique and exclusive tracks but also inject an original as well.  Let's get to it!


Some may say that it's how you finish that matters, but if you didn't start off on the right foot, then it doesn't matter.  Ad brilliantly starts off the mix with an original deep housey offering from Yuriy From Russia 'Bassingva' which includes some great work from a flute among other melodic pads.


Seamlessly mixing in track number 2 is Nueva's favourite go-to kid from South America Rodrigo Deem and his gorgeous 'Aconcagua'.  This track sets the tone for the rest of the mix as it brings about a tense but melancholic breakdown.


Up next Ad Brown picks Russia's Katrin Souza & Flipplive's track 'Heat of Two Hearts' which melds a fantastic guitar riff, strings and breathy vocal emanating what Nueva is all about: that return to how progressive music used to be (at least for us)!


Propelling From The Record Bag: London on is Nueva's first Exclusive Contract signing wonder kid Hazem Beltagui.  We have an eye for talent, as Ad has picked here, and Hazem has created such a masterpiece it almost makes you want to quit producing.  This chopped up original 'Sunrise' evokes that exact sentiment as you might just lose yourself in it.


Speaking of masterpieces this next pick by Ad Brown is no slouch and may be our favourite of the year for emotion and technical prowess that only Ilya Malyuev can create, this time with 'Leaving Dancefloor'.  Ilya returns to a reflection of his older self as he brings his more progressive trancy side out in this sparkly and marvelous track including live sounds he recorded himself especially for the track.


Coming out of the half way track Mr. London himself showcases an original, which will alter be released on Nueva with remixes from Matt Lange & Cid Inc.  LA is what Ad Brown does, and what Ad Brown does is Progressive in the purest form.  The use of vocal is perfectly placed among a melodic break down that cascades into a fantastic synth line that dare's the dance floor dance.


Ad Brown does us proud with this pick as he picks up veteran and Canadian Alucard in his Nueva Exclusive alias 'Michael Vjadslaw' in the phenomenally produced 'Dreamheart'.  Alucard blurs the line between the progressive and trance again as he continues to impress us track after track!


Track 8 features newcomer to Nueva Anushka De'Sai and his airy progressive offering using some great strings and 80's sounding pads that get us a bit nostalgic. 


Kicking up the mix a notch Ad Brown succinctly picks a stormer of a track with Juspio's magnificent and aptly named 'Boomerang'.  The track holds a special place for us as it has a unique loop that you just can't get tired of no matter how many times you listen to it.


Closing out the this mix Ad Brown surely puts Nueva on the map with another fantastic 'From The Record Bag' with a track from a rising progressive star in his own right hailing from New York: Zack Roth.  'Wils Lives' may have an odd track title but it beautifully closes out the mix with a superb effort from Zack Roth and speaks for itself on it's own or in the mix. Take your pick, we hope you will!

The original being a magnificent piece of progressive artistry by Ad Brown is a track that seems to be on repeat for us over here at Nueva.  Ad makes great use of a beautiful vocal and intertwines a lush melody.  Classic Ad Brown all over we think.


Making his debut on Nueva Prog is the venerable Matt Lange (Anjunadeep, Armada, Blackhole) and takes an entirely different yet refreshing approach to the original, taking this remix into prog-tech territory.  He manages to make use of the subtle and minute and produces a gorgeous deep feel with new discoveries every time you listen to it over and over.  A very welcome addition indeed to the Nueva roster!


His second appearance on Nueva and we are more than glad to welcome back the enigma that is Cid Inc.  His take on "L.A." is unmistakeable Cid as he takes the original and turns it on it's head producing a driving, pulsating and dark mix.  A mix that will surely set the tone for floors across the globe!


Last but not least, this man is on fire and it seems he can do no wrong.  Alfoa churns out yet another gorgeous prog-breaks masterpiece for Nueva becoming one of Nueva's best selling artists in the last 6 months, and that's saying something considering the talent Nueva's recently released in the last year.  Something for everyone in this release.

Nueva's 59th release, coming courtesy of the very talented E-Spectro and feat. vocals from Escenda,  is upon us and it's a very much anticipated one at that, as it features remixes from the uber talented Stan Kolev, the always exciting Jay FM from Ireland and the contest winner Syncroft & Unstatic, as they edged out over 70 remix submissions and a grueling 1 month vote to appear on the release.

The Title track comes from one of our favourite Nueva producers; E-Spectro, as they team up with the very unique Escenda on vocals.  Together they put forth one of the smoothest tracks of the year, full of deep rolling bass lines and a melancholic melody something akin to the Moonbeam sound.

Getting Stan Kolev was a no-brainer for us as we knew he'd put his signature deep prog sound on it and of course amazing ability to find the melody and groove in anything!  Stunning!

Making another appearance is a producer you should keep on your short list: Jay FM.  Jay FM takes the road less traveled with his take...dare we say in the vein of industry legend  James Holden.  A breathtaking deep journey that cuts up and glitches the original into a visceral journey for the senses.

Wrapping this amazing package up is the winner of Nueva's second annual remix contest and it's such a fitting remix making sure we give every type of prog listener a mix for them on the release.  Syncroft & Unstatic go to one our favourite decades to sample: the 80's, and tap into that Michael Cassette vibe we all love.  We'll be seeing more of these chaps for sure!

'Ocean Skies' once again displays Anushka's great attention to detail and prowess of creating a mesmerizing floaty atmosphere, not to mention the sound of  plucked guitar strings!  On remix duties is the wonderful Louder Dale as he makes his debut on Nueva upping the ante on his take.  Also incorporating the main melody in an electric guitar riff making for a great contrast to the original.  Making his second appearance on Nueva is Australian native Scotty Sunday and boy does he do wonders with 'Ocean Skies', reworking the main melody and adding a gorgeous pad of melody and strings..truly a pleasure for the ears.

The B-side 'Far & Close' features more swirling pads and an unforgettable melody along with a rolling bass line.  If you close your eyes..salty breezes and the sound the beach won't be far away.  Another milestone debut for Nueva is the artist LTN as he brings his classic "Sunrise Mix' moniker to the label and coaxes out one of the best pieces of work we've heard all year, we think you'll agree!

The original track from Tvardovsky featuring Matvey Emerson "Emptiness " is a amazing composition featuring beautiful vocals set against a background of mesmerizing deep bass and synth sounds, ambient plucks and melodic synthlines.  
Phunktastike places his own unique stamp firmly on the track with his characteristic 80's style sounds, and the incredible use of slowed down vocals bringing a truly new dimension to this remix. ND090 promises to be another epic summer release from Nueva Digital as 
Dave Pineda our new A&R/Label Manager debuts 2 very talented producers 
to remix James Woods brilliant track "Bliss" which has been widely 
supported by major industry DJ's like Blake Jarrell,Ruben De Ronde, 
Marcus Schossow, Max Graham & Mylon & Shane 54, James Warren and Protoculture.

This is the Part 1 of 2 EP remixes of "Bliss" and the first remix is 
by Blood Groove & Kikis, the famous Progressive/Deep/Tech 
House DJ & producer duo composed of Edmunds Kasperovics and 
Kristaps Karklins from Latvia. 

BG&K's signature is definitely all over their remix, deep progressive
sounds and with layers upon layers of nice melodies punctuated 
by a simple bass line and tight punchy beats......this track reminds
you of Dinka's remix of Schodt's track, "Tokyo Dawn". 

When this track was sent out to remixers, Nueva sought out UK's Jay
