Nu:Gen project started out as an idea of a couple of music enthusiasts who were tired of just listening to music. Call it a logical extension of their music interests. First vinyl records were purchased along with turntables and first gigs were organized. Nobody had ever suspected that this project would spark interest and reach out to so many people. Nu:Gen crew is powered by people who combine both fascination with music and high technical skills. Taking this approach resulted in expanding the collective and adding new, mainly Polish producers. As of today, Nu:Gen gathers mainly DJ's and producers specializing in wide range of alternative electronica, but also promoters, graphic designers and sound technicians whom contributed in achieving such high standards.
Nu:Gen Records is the arms division of Nu:Gen. Established in 2009 it is promoting a wide spectrum of D'N'B. The label is gathering many producers from all around the world and it's expanding rapidly despite of being new to the scene.
