Rounding out the release and returning to the label for his third appearance is Felix Cage. The Paris-born, Moscow-raised and now Brussels-based artist first appeared on the Belgian imprint in June of 2019 with a contribution to the label’s ‘Treasure #1’ collection, while December of the same year yielded the ‘Mon Automne’ EP. Also finding a home on Katermukke, Mobilee Records and Parquet Recordings, Felix now lands back on Nugget Music with an inspired take on ‘Eleuthera’ by Bigasti & Beije. Dulcet beats and waves of rippling bass anchor the piece, while spaced out sonics and a shifting musical theme build expertly into a symphonic sunrise; spiritually fulfilling and perfectly dialled for a broad range of dance floors. Groovy and emotive in equal measure it caps off a stunning first edition of Nugget Music’s ‘Alteration’ series that’s not to be missed.
