Magic Feet's latest vinyl voyage companions are fresh-faced Lithuanian audio-visual explorers Roe Deers. Best-friends Liudas and Oskaras have been producing, DJing and performing together for some time; "Kukushka", the track showcased here, marks their debut release. It's an impressive debut, too. Built around metallic percussion hits, chugging post-punk attitude, tipsy textures and the sound of broken cuckoo clocks, 'Kukushka' is a throbbing dancefloor excursion blessed with an otherworldly atmosphere.

The debut release on Omnidisc's Polyester Series is from Lithuanian-duo Roe Deers and their intelligent, unpredictable sound has been channeled in the 'Rush' EP. 

The title track is a low-tempo destroyer and although the pace is lowered, the pair make up for it with a serious amount of voodoo dread. It's dark, devilish and premiering right here, right now.

Then all of a sudden there was a strange hush of quiet. The hall was cast into a bleak silence as the outside world began to judge them. The trumpets and their ridiculous leadership would seen be toppled by a greater good and they would all fade away. The regime was on its very last legs and soon the nature of human spirirt would rise above their devilish hypocrisy and their twisted sense of righteousness. Politics was a game, they had certainly lost. 

Roe Deers and Curses have collaborated on an intriguing new EP which is being released on La Belle Records. They borrow influence from the early days of krautrock and post punk to create an odd dance floor bomb.

PREMIERE: Roe Deers & Curses - Fade Away [La Belle Records]

Lithuanian project Roe Deers is comprised of Liudas and Oskaras, two close friends who have released on the likes of Magic Feet, Omnidisc and Nein Records. Their new release is entitled “Fade Away” and will be released by French label La Belle Records on October 6th.

Vocals on the EP comes from Berlin-based Curses, who you all should know as the dark and romantic moniker of New Yorker Luca Venezia who mixes italo, electronic music and rock and roll into thrilling new sounds.

We can premiere the B-side track “To the End” which is a wild ride of clever effects, metallic hits and wobbly bass to create a dark and energetic stomper.

Liudas Lazauskas aka Roe Deers has been on fire over the last couple of years with tracks on Magic Feet, Rotten City,  ,Suara, Ombra International, La Belle, Calypso  amongst others. As well as Nein with a selection of EP's and remixes.

He shows no sign of slowing down here with the excellent 'Bells of Hell', a typically trippy and off kilter track, made for the darkest of dance-floors.
