The first one of PACIFIC MODE mix series is from Japanese DJ ‘YELLOWUHURU’ who did NY tour in August and locked floor of PACIFIC MODE perfectly after sunset where all artists played their best sets.
His original style is collaging avant-garde into house music, and in this mix, he delivers one hour of percussive downtempo screw to double speed set by vinyl.

"I spent a lot of time this year in the air. Airplanes are a time of self-confession for me, I cry there. The solitude persists despite an overfull passenger cabin, welcoming an internal quiet," Arushi Jain begins. 

"The undulations in air pressure, bass drone of the engine, and dizzying distance from earth encourages external waves of emotion. In between now and when I’m back on land, I have an opportunity to release, and ready myself to be replenished. These moments are delicate, not unlike the music I chose for this mix."
