Directly related to one of the sentences in our manifesto, Sublime Creatures is a call to our most powerful selves.

The name of the label itself is about us working on bettering ourselves and being united in all our differences. “Reptile” is about our relationship with the reptilian brain and our efforts to understand what truly means to be human (tools to perfect your instinct), becoming aware of ourselves and the others around us. “House of” is a direct allusion to the “house and ball culture” movements in NYC in the early 80s. 

The sense of a real family of strangers coming together around a shared sense of purpose.

We are all still affected by the consequences of the coronavirus, especially the people who have to live on the streets. In winter they often lack warm clothes, a sleeping bag or simply something to eat or drink to survive the cold.  That's why we decided to donate all the income of this compilation to the "Kältebusse" in Berlin and Stuttgart.

We came together as a label and with the help of some friends we put together a compilation of 6 tracks for you. 
We give you the choice, all tracks can be downloaded for free, but you also have the option to pay a small amount which will be donated (you decide).

In this way we want to give something back to the people who might need it the most.

All proceeds from the sales of these tracks will be donated 100% to "Kältebusse Stuttgart & Berlin", german organisations that help the people on the streets to survive winter.

The third compilation (of four instalments) in the Various Artists catalogue of Pi Electronics is hitting physical and digital stores around the globe on the 10th of February 2023. The concept of releasing artists, who performed at π parties (2014-2019) along with musicians who stood close to the label before and during its activity, gathers 18 tracks to the Limitation Compilation.
Music by New York City industrial legend Adam X, Swedish master mind producer Peder Mannerfelt and Irish Techno figure, Eomac (also one half of Lakker) finally takes its place on the label catalogue, along with tracks by the electro side of Italian born producer, Alessandro Adriani and the sound-aesthetic of UK hailing musicians, Slave to Society (formerly AnD ) and Sam KDC. Berlin artists Alekzandra and Interviews appear with a synth leaning piece, and a hypnotic, broken techno contribution respectively.
You can also meet the sound of Tel Aviv’s finest electro duo TV.OUT on this release, which also includes a rare collaboration track by Ireen Amnes and Gramrcy.

Finally, ‘Limitation’ presents music by Greece affiliated acts of different backgrounds: from the dreamy guitars of Monochromatic Visions and the ambient/drone of Devika, to the broken beats of Zevla and Ønly, as well as the rolling techno of Thanos Hana. Not to mention the textures of noise band Phallucipher, the industrial slo mo techno of Thessaloniki’s, Archaic Intellect, and the noise-techno of label founder, 3.14. A crossroad of different genres and production styles is offered in the formats of Double Vinyl Sampler, Double CD and digital for this compilation, title  “Limitation”.

Premiere: THANOS HANA – SHIP ON FIRE [PEVA07]

For the first release of 2023, 47 welcomes Berlin-based DJ and producer Linn Elisabet to its roster. An artist with a singular background in choral singing and gender studies, their work explores techno as a vehicle for transgression and non-compliance. 47034 sits at the nexus of these practices; using searing swathes of rhythmic noise, operatic vocals and broken beats, it explores the space where functional, forward-looking dance music and non-traditional sound design meet.

The collection starts with a euphoric dance floor stepper, “In Which I Am Reflected,” which mixes the fury and speed of peak-time techno with the grandeur of contemporary classical. The EP carries this reverberant soundscape into the following tracks. “Emotion vs Affect (I Hear Too Much)” serves punishing kicks under Elisabet’s echoing screams, while “Feeding Into Each Other,” a ghostly interlude that clocks in at mid-tempo, offsets crafty percussion with the artist’s buried singing line. “Challenge Me,” 47034’s closer, layers ambient pads with sublime spoken word that summarizes the release’s running theme: “Challenge me with a mind that is open to anything.”

Haven is kicking off 2020 with a boom with a new EP of politically pessimistic dance-floor-ready weapons from label boss Keepsakes. Following on from his exploration of chunky slow rippers on 2019's "Modern Anxious Vernacular", this next edition in the Haven mastermind's discography puts greater emphasis on rhythmic groove for the dancers among us.

The record starts with "And So The Feckless Fall" on the A1, featuring shuffling drum rhythms and ethereal vocal work, descending in to a menacing, swung synth-line for maximum club effect. This is followed by "Blue Boy Fucks It All" on the A2. Reminiscent of the slo-mo bangers of Keepsakes' last EP, this crawler of a track is initially propelled by its moody synth melody and booming drums, with a mid-track switch up putting melancholic pad chords front-and-centre. The flip side begins with "Ignorant Irony" - a certified floor smasher prioritizing groove with it's swinging drum rhythms, cheeky vocal samples and sinister synth sounds. The record ends with a remix of the B1 from UVB - who re-imagines the track in to a sneering, ominous slammer, with brutal yet groovy drum work and sampling closing the EP with another no-nonsense banger.
