Last Episode of my almost weekly residency at Ecstatic Dance - Byron Bay. This time I brought my flutes on state so if you hear some Native American flutes around that's me :)

The Music Medicine was present and delivered on the Love Ritual - The Conscious Celebration pt002, that took place on Aletya Yoga Center of Istanbul / Turkey.

Program included Music Meditation - Ritual / Offerings around the fire and Open Air celebration and this is the recording of the first part with Dimitrios (cymbals, tibetan bowls, chanting), Rila Köksal (cymbals, def, tibetan bowls, chanting), virtuoso Briken Aliu (harp, classic guitar), Niko Dogu (Aqua drum)

Questions like these are some times rhetoric. In this case it wasn't about the question but about the call itself. A call of unity for the sake of art and music.

Five musicians from different cultures gathered to honour the first attempt of exposure of a new born artist and the spirits came to dance and sing along.
People attended to find their personal truth through the experience and this is the Audio capturing of what happened!

As the hummingbird is going from a flower to another to feed, the journey of life is a never-ending invitation from the soul to seek for the sacred pollen of life.

There you will find the sacred nectar 
To feed your heart and body and soul.

This is the song of the spirits fo the Forest,

The nectar you are craving for is right there.

Tao is an offering to the present moment.  Honoring the Kotamo & Monochord instrument played by André Lehner. Kotamo a combination of a Koto, a tampura and a monochord. From the japanese culture and bridge between different cultures in a fascinating way.  Singing with him, expressing my gratitude for the beauty of his presence and support during the recording process with the alchemist Tom Xuqutopi, who was our sound engineer during the recording of the album and who also did the mixing. Deep gratitude from my heart to my two brothers for their dedication and their quality of presence and listening which is also part of the creation of this moment, Essência."

“Essência” is a magical journey through the (sound) landscapes of Peru, Colombia, Chile, Guatemala, Austria and Portugal. Sounds of pure nature recorded in different places of the earth. In those sanctuaries, from my inner silence, an empty space is created within me to receive and give birth. Being at service to the essence and translating it into music. Serving as an instrument I transmit through my voice, my words, and the different instruments that I play. Being connected with everything, disappearing, like a bridge joining the bodies of sound and silence.”

"The meaning of Teyyi is earth, essential words from the Kogi language, indigenious people of the Sierra Nevada in Colombia where I was living some months in the middle of the sierra. Connecting with our roots, feeling the earth, groundedness. This essential song was born from a deep inner silence, bringing peace, song of the earth, song of the stars, calm the earth, calm the children of the earth. Honoring the sound of the birds of the sierra, the jungle, and the charango in fusion with my voice. I heard this melody in nature all at once with my fingers caressing the charango and harmonizing with my voice."

"The journey starts with, In silence, words that came through me like a river from sounds and silence. Flowing river opening the way with solfeggio frequencies, and sounds of water from the river in Aterra in the south of Portugal. Inviting the listener to connect in silence and listen deep inside.
