On that day, a displaced family found refuge in my home, their spirits unwavering despite uncertain circumstances. Their optimism stood in stark contrast to the looming threat of the flames, reminding me how quickly our comforts can slip away. This neoclassical solo piano piece channels the turmoil into a soothing, reflective sound, evoking both the fragility of our possessions and the strength of a community that unites in times of crisis. It’s a testament to resilience, hope, and the power of compassion.

This song was written years ago at a time in my life when I was tired of holding on to the self doubt I had about myself or the outside “Noise” from people who didn’t believe in me. It was a message to myself of finally letting go of people’s opinions. It also expressed how I was reflecting on myself and how I just “didn’t care anymore”. I was just wanting to let it all go.
