I find it kind of paradoxical when people say that techno will never be as good as it was in the 90s. That somehow undermines what techno stands for in my opinion. It's like saying, oh good old revolutions, how I'd love to start a nice revolution, but unfortunately there's a powerful monopoly in my country. Too bad, well maybe next year.  Techno is not only good when it's big and popular. Techno isn't just good when it's good. It's a powerful medium for development in itself, to test boundaries, to have whole new experiences and sometimes just to make terrible noise because it helps you process your feelings. I think it becomes clear, why it's pointless to put limits on something that was created to overcome them. I mean you can try, but the only thing you are putting a limit on is yourself.
