I wanted to include everything that I am as a musician and DJ in it, what I listen to daily and what shapes me as an artist. Conceptually I wanted to represent moments of light and darkness, perfection and imperfection, rawness and hyper-polishment. My aim was to illustrate this conflict between worlds and while making them coexist. 

An album for me it’s where you can experiment and try to show your full scope as an artist. Subconsciously it’s all there. I hope it is as challenging for you as it was for me. That evokes feelings, reactions, emotions, conversations and thoughtfulness. 

From now on it’s not mine anymore, it’s from you. It’s from the world, it’s from the ones that take time of their valuable life to listen. Own it, disown it, love it or hate it - it’s from me to you.

Dixon executive produced all the tracks in this album, he worked tirelessly like it was his own music. And in the end it became. In the end it is.
His ability to push new frontiers forward, unapologetically, without looking back or asking for permission  is a big inspiration and this album could only happen because of his openness for new sounds and challenges. He offered a home for this album to exist. I truly appreciate all you’ve done not only in this project but in life. Thank you Steffen, thank you Frank and Kristian (Âme).

Following up on his much acclaimed debut album ‘Opal’ released in 2022, Batu heads into a new year introducing A Long Strange Dream : a new imprint dedicated to his spontaneous musical explorations, conceived with the aim to follow curiosities and share his own music in a back-to-basics and spontaneous fashion.

The inaugural release « For Spirits » is packed with some of the Bristol based producer’s most psychedelic dancefloor studies to date. Flowing seamlessly as a whole piece, this long-form EP showcases Batu’s versatile and deep personal sound, as well as a riveting talent for electronic experiments ranging from trance-inducing ambient to peak-time techno wreckage.

Kelley Bates, known as Kelmo, is making a significant impact on Toronto's underground music scene. His deep love for drum and bass, jungle, UKG, house, and breaks shines through in sets that seamlessly blend old-school nostalgia with modern technical production. As a producer, Kelmo's tracks have found a welcoming home on labels like Polyoto, Influenza Media, Flight Pattern Recordings, 9d5Dance, Plaza, and Savory Audio. 

Together with Sean Roman and Graham Barg, Kelmo co-founded Lately Bass, a music brand, record label, and internet radio show committed to showcasing Toronto's diverse underground talent. He has been a featured performer at Future Forest Festival, Last Planet's DOCD, CCDNB, Kinetic, Toronto DNB, and Wasabi Wednesdays, where he consistently pushes the boundaries of Toronto's sound. 

With dedication to his community and craft, Kelmo is quickly rising with presence in the Canadian music scene.

Last Saturday, London-based techno producer @dying_in_beauty performed an all vinyl DJ set at Inverted Audio Record Store in Peckham to mark the release of ‘In Praise In Shadows’ EP issued through his own Rhythm Without Reason imprint.

A very big thank you to everyone that made it down to the store, the main man played a slamming techno set and his EP is now sold out! Globe-trotting ambient fusion supergroup Yayoba are set to release their debut album, 'A Maze of Glass' in May on @not-not-fun-1. "Transformation of the 3-Way Mirror" is a delicate slab of musique concrete adjacent ambience. Woodwinds, chiming percussion, field recordings, and electronic flourishes fill the vast spaces generated by the trio.

Hawaii-born, NYC and Berlin-based DJ and producer @kimannfoxman returns with a warm and emotional EP, ‘We Are Rhythm’, on her @selftimer label - which includes a remix from Irish nu prog and trance master @sprayforever.
