‘Three Deadly Causes’ consists of three miniatures for harpsichord, each one inspired by a different cause of death: 

Stroke (00:00)
Pneumonia (03:15)
Heart Attack (05:50)

Therefore, they are representing the failure of one of the human organs, respectively: brain, lungs and heart. As it is known, these fatalities have associated symptoms:

Stroke: Face dropping; speech difficulty. 
Pneumonia: Cough; Shortness of breath; Fatigue. 
Heart Attack: Arrhythmias or Irregular heart beats.

Each one of the pieces will present a particular approach to these symptoms, while individually suggesting an independent musical narrative
