from a young age i struggled with feeling valid. i never found a place in life where i genuinely felt accepted, so i used music as my safe haven. i hope that what our community is doing nowadays helps a lot of people feel more valid and helps them believe that the world is just as open and just as available to them as it is to anyone else. noone should feel outcast for something they cant change, and in a way maybe we should always try to look at the things we cant change about ourselves as our biggest strengths.
