[21/03/2024] Ramadan night 12 by Abu Khadeejah at Masjid Salafi.

- Ḥadīth # 2: ‘Abdullāh b. ‘Abbās (رضى الله عنهما) narrated that Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ addressed the people during the farewell Ḥajj and said, “O people, surely I have left among you an affair such that if you hold fast to it you will never go astray; the Book of Allāh and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ.’  [Collected by Al-Hākim and declared Saḥih by Shaykh Al-Albānï (رحمه الله).
- That which prevents the Muslims from going astray. 
- Shaykh Ṣāliḥ al-Fawzān (حفظه الله) on taking one’s religion from the Book of Allāh and Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ.
- The impermissibility of adopting the statement of a scholar that is not built upon authentic evidence.
- Imām Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal (رحمه الله) on the one who is on the very edge of destruction. 
- Ahlul-Ḥadīth vs the blind followers when differing occurs.
- Following the way of the Ṣaḥābah and the great imāms in not tolerating opposition to the Sunnah, regardless of who it emanates from. 
- Imām ash-Shāfi’ī (رحمه الله) on the meaning of ‘al-Ḥikmah’ in the verse, “Indeed Allāh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses, and purifying them, and instructing them (in) the Book (the Qur’ān) and al-Ḥikmah, while before that they had been in manifest error.” [Sūrah Āli ‘Imrān 3:164]
