LaserPunk 1992 is a single from the upcoming LaserWar instrumental album by nurmStream. Nostalgic 80s/early 90s retrofuturistic sounds, inspired by the original Laser War board game created by Jarosław Przybylak in the early 90s.

Laser War is an album inspired by “Laser-War”, a board game created in the early 90s by my father. The most important thing for me was to contain a huge load of nostalgia, based on the assumption that the real vibe of the Western 1980s reached Poland in the early 1990s. “Laser-War” was an example of the need to create in that mood. To convey the idea of ​​these realities, it was necessary to reach for the sounds of classic synthesizers and drum machines of the 80s. I was inspired by both the pioneering sounds of new wave bands from the early 80s, as well as my favorite contemporary synthwave artists. The album does not fall within the strict definition of synthwave. However, the premise was that there is synthpop, there is synthwave, and there is nurmStream.
