In true SkinnyFAT style I went a little hip hop and bass house mixed with some old school Breaks influences for our new Red Hot Beverly friends and family. I have a feeling you might see more of us Ticket Booth’ers playing with the Red Hot Bev crew and vice versus. You could say both our crews fit right in! This set is from their friends and family Gratitude Party which they give thanks to the things they are thankful for. I can tell you I am thankful for meeting them and the time behind their decks. Just getting this LIVE set out now and I still can't stop listening to it - so many dance genres and booty bumpin' beats; it was incredibly joyful to play!  It was also my first time trying out my new in-ear monitors versus headphones, so there are a few inconsistencies as I worked thru my new process. Ok, you're the DJ(s)...8:45am...the morning sun is shining, and a field of friends and family are reveling in the afterglow of a three hour dawn set by Thugfucker.  What do you play?  How do you follow that?  These are questions Dao & I were honored and privileged to answer more than hypothetically at the FnF summer campout 2012, only a few days ago.  We are proud to have spent  time and energy crafting this set.  (This is a re-creation, polished and pretty for you ;)  We wore kimonos.  We had a blast.
