Recorded live at the Friends and Family Fall Classic Campout near Yosemite, CA, 12:45 - 1:45 AM, Oct 1, 2023. It was deeply meaningful to me to get to play music for this wonderful community. Without further delay, I’m proud to share with you my much requested set from Breakfast of Champion + It’s A New Day on New Year’s Day 2024!  I would have loved to share my live recording but due to a technical difficulty, I had to recreate the magic in a studio mix. It was amazing to kick off the new year with joy, love and hope rocking my set on the Heavy Petting Zoo stage to a sea of party people and all my friends up on stage. The highlight was debuting the track that DJ Denise and I produced at the top of my set. It’s always one of my favorite events of the year and this year was no exception. Live at Breakfast of Champions + It's A New Day 2024

We had the absolute honor & privilege to perform at the Daybreaker SF: Peace Tour located at the breathtaking Grace Cathedral. This is the live 2-hour recording (Dancing Mandy is the first half, DJ Denise is the second half). Thank you for listening!

Playing Daybreaker at Grace Cathedral was incredibly meaningful for me on so many levels. Growing up singing in church choir was my first connection to music, so being able to DJ in a house of worship (in my wedding dress!) really brought my musical journey full circle. I thought deeply about what to play, and decided that it was really important to play soulful, uplifting house music, the music that unapologetically spreads love in the face of judgement, the music that was created (and still is) to bring fellowship to so many Black, gay, and other marginalized groups when organized religion did not support them. For so many, house music IS church — the only church where they feel 100% loved and accepted for who they are. Bringing these seemingly two diametric opposites under one roof was a powerful experience and I’m so grateful to Daybreaker and Grace Cathedral for making it happen. So as Jack said…Let There Be House!

ChlorAmor - Unison 4 - live

Nurse Noise specializes in cross-genre booty-shaking, bass-heavy, good-time feeling beats. She believes the attitude behind the decks is just as important as the music selection and mixing. With a background in performance arts, you might find her dancing on speakers to get the crowd going.

Nurse Noise is the co-founder of a unique live dance and DJ collaboration called the Venus Groove Collective. She is also a part of the Angles of bAss an all-female DJ collective. During the COVID pandemic, Lee-Anne has been coordinating online streaming events on Twitch for 2-day events with a crew-of-crews (seven different DJ collectives) called Unison. Unison creates celebrations with importance on generosity by raising money for chosen beneficiaries. Additionally, she contributes to the 3 Degrees and Friends 'n Family communities that actively throw campout festivals. 

Starting her DJ career in 1996 in college radio at KSCU and then KUSF, Nurse Noise had a prime-time radio show for seven years called "The Treatment Show". Gradually she worked her way onto the decks through her Burning Man camps: Magic Glasses, Coda, & Illuminaughty.

Unison creates celebrations of generosity through creativity and community.
