We are starting a series of guest mixes spotlighting various artists outside of the Bay Area and kicking it off with a guest mix from Tampa Bay's InterCom (@intercom-dj).

Intercom has pulverized dancefloors from coast to coast with his unique brand of impious vibrations since 1999. Stupefying crowds from Black Rock City to Lakes of Fire, Intercom’s influence on the Burning Man music community has stretched from memorable performances at the Freakeasy and Hookahdome to those at Dewie Decibels and Gon Kirin. In Detroit, Intercom spent years leaving audiences in a pile of their own excrement during monthlies for SanctumFM. Also pairing his caliginous vibe quite appropriately with the devils and ghouls at Theatre Bizarre, where he has performed since prior to the inception of their mainstream epoch. 

Intercom has opened for and supported such belligerence powerhouses as Deekline, Keith Mackenzie, Stanton Warriors, Freq Nasty and Radiohiro.

Here's what he had to say about the mix:

Nurse Noise is a dynamic DJ who specializes in cross-genre, bass-heavy beats guaranteed to make you move. With a strong femme presence and a focus on creating positive vibes, she blends her love for music with an infectious energy behind the decks.

By day, she’s an occupational therapist supporting children with sensory needs, but by night, she’s spinning tracks that are pure medicine for the soul. Nurse Noise specializes in cross-genre booty-shaking, bass-heavy, good-time feeling beats. She believes the attitude behind the decks is just as important as the music selection and mixing. With a background in performance arts, you might find her dancing on speakers to get the crowd going.
