The new single from exceptional´s nasty boyz Nursery of Naughtiness shows, in two tracks, both sides of this out of control production unit. These guys just love to make music, and can´t stop spitting out great new tracks and remixes, seemingly every week. We just love it!

Rock Back To The Punch is a perfectly executed study in structure and form, mashing together influences as diverse as 80´s rock, breaks and grime, topped off with a perfect pop hook.

This is what would happen if (here we go...)
Nine Inch Nails & Guns n´ Roses go out one night in search of M&Ms, but somehow find themselves at an illegal warehouse rave, drawn in by the crashing bass and thumping kick emanating from the illuminated bunker. Once inside they meet an unlikely couple at the bar in the shape of Phorse MC, a ginger haired, leather clad rapper-rocker with an angry temperament, and Sarah S, an untouchable beauty with a glint in her eye which says¨tonight, nothing can stop me.´ After many shots, the new friends , on a dare, take to the stage in front of the raving masses to see how their musical worlds will collide. What takes place this night in front of the privileged dancers is an incredible blend of opposing styles... widdly guitar riffs meet dirty thumping beats, a mumbled and malevolent rap combines with a heart achingly beautiful female vocal, all to great effect.

Until You Master Time continues the theme of duality, picking up where The Echo leaves off, at the same tempo and with a similar rhythm. It could almost be an echo of the echo, with it’s gentler pads and trippy beat, set with a plaintive and indistinct female vocal sample, emploring the listener to ‘take me away from here.’ The breakdown features male spoken word samples reminiscent of Michael Caine doing his best British disdain.

Wrapped In Plastic features the darker, broodier, inventive side of Nursery of Naughtiness. A slow rambling half time beat starts us off, electronic sweat pouring from the buzzing fridge and the ghosts in the machine telling us that ¨You can´t see the eyes of a demon.¨ All very dark and disturbed, not one for granny. Heavy relief comes in the form of cinematic pads, straight out of a horror film. Full speed ahead now with transmissions coming from space, interference on the radio leaving you breathless and confused.

Nursery OF Naughtiness (N.o.N) are a hard hitting live electronic/breaks act signed to the London based label Exceptional Records (Rogue Element, Culprit 1, Ken Ishi, 10 Rapid) . Heavy beats, distorted wailing synths , loud guitars and angry vocals dominate their tracks, however they are no one trick pony and have teamed up with a number of female vocalists to produce more melodic driven tunes. Over the course of 3 years they have had a number of high profile releases out and been remixed from the likes of Far Too Loud, Rogue Element and Run Riot.
