Hydrolics

Nu South Music is a Florida production company that currently manages Florida artist, NIKO IS. The company was started in Orlando in 2008 by Faisal Lateef (@FaisTeam) and Andrew Girges (@AGirges). After developing his own sound, executive producer and co-founder, Faisal began working and developing the sound of other Florida artists. Working with a wide array of clientele from reggae bands to electrofunk artists, Faisal and Andrew G have compiled some of the most eclectic and innovative sounds heard in recent indie Southern Hip-Hop.


Today the group focuses on Florida Music that diverges from the mainstream southern sound. Nu South works with artists from Miami, Gainesville, Orlando, Daytona Beach and beyond. We manage notable FL artist NIKO IS (@nikohigh), Hip Hop producers RiskyBeats (@RiskyBeats561) and NZM (@NZMproduce) & EDM producer DJ Vexcel (@DJ_Vexcel). 


Our aim is to provide production for various local artists in our area and give Central Florida its own unique sound instead of conforming to the standard southern formula for hip hop music. Our main operation as of now is managing music producers and assembling a production team. Too many brilliant digital composers waste their talents because of misguided representation or no representation at all. You cannot make it into this industry without a proper management team. We are also diversifying our production, venturing out into House music and Acoustic.  We at Nu South do not just head an LLC, we are the leaders of a movement.
