It's not music for faint hearted, or music aimed at infiltrating popular playlists, this is music for the those who truly appreciate the finest aspects of these incredible genres themselves and at every point "To Have & Have Not" from start to finish keeps it's roots set firmly in the music’s underground foundation.

The album delivers with an unfaltering intent and truly demonstrates Jubei’s incredible versatility with tracks that traverse & transcend from one corner of the music to the next with an almost effortless and misleading ease.

Each composition is within its own right a standout highlight. The track list includes a ridiculous amount of jaw-dropping collaborative talent. Credits for example see Jubei once again call on the vocal prowess of Flowdan for the LP’s massive follow up to past release "Say Nothing" entitled "The Moment". "State of the Art" flips the script at 170+ with SP:MC on vocal duties. Further co production credits on the album bring Jubei together the forces of Goldie, D-Bridge & Youngsta just to name a few.

Albums like this don’t come along every day and whilst some artists now imitate with sights set firmly on commercial success only a select few can originate whilst continuing to cross boundaries so consistently.

The classically trained, multi-instrumentalist marvel Keeno is back with a slice of freshly cut sonics to continue his release streak on Hospital Records since officially moving over from Med School in 2020. ‘Fall Beneath You (feat. Etherwood)’ and ‘Equinox’ are a divine showcase of his unique approach to drum & bass, whereby his musical and technical abilities combine to create an unmatched sound like no other.

Featuring the elevating vocals of fellow Hospital extraordinaire Etherwood, the orchestral motifs of Keeno’s style shine through in ‘Fall Beneath You’. Stunning piano chord progressions lead the way, accompanied by warming strings and polished breaks to take the listener on a cinematic journey across the ever expanding world of drum & bass.

An eminent champion of classically infused drum & bass, it goes without saying that Keeno’s capability to draw for grittier numbers in the studio continues to be valued just as highly. Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital signings Nu:Tone and Logistics. The two brothers, Dan and Matt Gresham, first joined forces under this new alias in the mid noughties, with the first Nu:Logic release "On & On" appearing on Hospital in 2004. The project went on the back burner until 2010 when they released their "New Technique" EP to great critical acclaim. 

The pair combine the music that they love - music with soul, atmosphere, tension and groove - together into one melting pot of sound. Whilst growing up they were exposed to the same music, but quickly found their tastes diverging. However now they are older, these have moved closer together again and at the core is a shared love of artists such as DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, MoWax, Full Cycle, Heaz, No U Turn, Jazzanova and Calibre.

With nine individual albums between them and their debut Nu:Logic album "What I've Always Waited For" released in 2013 which has been making waves in the D&B scene and beyond, it is now time for their new album "Somewhere Between The Light" which is due out in June this year.
