He made his mark in 2018 bursting onto the scene with his infamous remix of High Contrast’s ‘If We Ever’, and Andy C favourite ‘Bootstrap Bill’. Now, through his groundbreaking fusion of futuristic sonic design and unmatchable old-school vibes, ‘Interplanetary Radio’ is born, an exciting journey through a heavy selection of breakbeats, basslines and BPMs that are quite frankly, out of this world. Featuring previous singles including ‘Total XTC’ and ‘Crusty Rolls (feat. Benny L & Javeon)’, as well as a stellar collection of never before heard tracks.

R&B meets jungle on ‘Way Back When’ as Unglued teams up with rising star Esther Durin, whos talents have been picked up on by the likes of Capital XTRA and GRM Daily, as she supplies an immaculate vocal performance over lustrous synths, crisp cut breakbeats and mangled bass hits.

With his debut album already brewing up a sense of excitement within the drum & bass community, Unglued’s productions are an essential go-to for an array of DJs. With support ranging from the likes of Andy C to Randall, DJ Marky to Noisia, his musical presence has made a mark across the full spectrum of 174BPM. No stranger to making moves on the airwaves, the Brighton-based sonic surgeon recently stepped up to deliver a ‘Brief History of Breakbeat’ mini-mix for Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, not forgetting to mention his ‘Hottest Record In The World’ for his future classic ‘Born In ‘94’ ft MC Conrad, his B2B with Lens and Degs for the Hospital Records BBC Radio 1 Dance April takeover and frequent support from Rene LaVice and Charlie Tee. Unglued is on the fast track to the top of the game.

‘Echoes’ pulls inspirational beauty from all corners of the Earth. The delicate intro moves swiftly into an intertwined drop of mysterious vocals, wide pads, and sub-bass bliss. Melodic cameos and evolving basslines keep this one pleasing to the ear right through to the end.

Slipping into a deeper zone, ‘Quantify’ is the perfect follow-up. Carried by a sound bed of pianos and earthy vocal tones, this melancholic production grounds the release in its essence - pure vibe.

Foregone - that has gone before; previous; past. determined in advance; inevitable. Rising up into brighter tones, ‘Foregone’ merges worn-out and rustic tones with sweet percussion, delicious keys, and heavenly vocals. The replay button was made for tracks like these.

‘Surplus’, like the tracks before it, makes complex sound simple. A gliding, percussive, and jazz-laden story filled with hope and emotion. The world is full of beauty, and this track proves it.

Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital stalwarts Nu:Tone and Logistics. Individually, the Gresham brothers have released a total of seven long players already on Hospital, each to great critical acclaim. The sum of their combined powers is oozing with the kind of soulful drum + bass, which is the foundation of the Hospital label and will satisfy long term fans who hanker after the golden days of the genre.

Having brought us the Nu:Logic “New Technique” EP in 2010 and the recently released follow up single “Morning Light / Grizzly”, the duo now bring us their highly anticipated debut album “What I’ve Always Waited For”.

Opening with the calm, mellow soothing sounds of “Morning Light” we are taken through a variety of styles across the 14-track album. Vocal-driven cuts are peppered throughout the album and there’s some top collaborations in there, including “Everlasting Days (ft. Lifford)” with its warm, uplifting vibe, the growling spoken swagger of “We Live There (ft. DRS)” and the blissed out “Shoot Me Down (ft. Robert Manos)”.

Elsewhere, don’t miss out on the excellent “Start Again (ft. S.P.Y)” with the raw, bass heavy menacing tones, as well as the meditative title track “What I’ve Always Waited For” which is all whirring atmospherics and pattering drums. Two interludes “Escape Pod” and “Dusk” successfully segment the album into thirds. With so many musical gems to choose from, one thing is for sure - this has been worth waiting for.

Nu:Logic is a collaborative partnership between Hospital signings Nu:Tone and Logistics. The two brothers, Dan and Matt Gresham, first joined forces under this new alias in the mid noughties, with the first Nu:Logic release "On & On" appearing on Hospital in 2004. The project went on the back burner until 2010 when they released their "New Technique" EP to great critical acclaim. 

The pair combine the music that they love - music with soul, atmosphere, tension and groove - together into one melting pot of sound. Whilst growing up they were exposed to the same music, but quickly found their tastes diverging. However now they are older, these have moved closer together again and at the core is a shared love of artists such as DJ Shadow, DJ Krush, MoWax, Full Cycle, Heaz, No U Turn, Jazzanova and Calibre.

With nine individual albums between them and their debut Nu:Logic album "What I've Always Waited For" released in 2013 which has been making waves in the D&B scene and beyond, it is now time for their new album "Somewhere Between The Light" which is due out in June this year.
