Human Synthetics returns to the label for the 8th installment from Dream Schemes. A mixed release with tracks for home or the dancefloor, plus a bonus remix of Leisure Centre from Repertoire’s own Law.

A side - Reality Function - is a dreamy sci-fi fuelled track that almost made an appearance on his first release with us. This one is about what you would expect from HS, tight production, choppy breaks, wavey synth lines, and deep rolling baselines.

B side - Renegade - shows HS turning up the heat a little. While still deep and atmospheric, this one comes packed with well thought out call and response across the bass section, and a second drop that would get people moving in any situation.

Bonus track - Leisure Centre (Law Remix) - sees Law drop in and deliver a stripped back, steppa take, on the much loved Leisure Centre - a track from our first ever release. Perfect for all occasions, this one will spin listeners around with crisp drum programming, hypnotic melody lines, and big bouncy bass.

REVIEW
One of the regular labels we feature are Sub-Liminal, a wicked little imprint that puts out a diverse sound ranging from techy rollers to jump-up steppers and even liquidy numbers. This week they've arrived with an EP from Prestige, who, across six tracks, spans various tones and styles, all of them rooted in a sense of dancefloor aggressiveness and all of them top-notch. 'It Must Be Destroyed' is a highlight, its rolling percussive line isn't the paciest but is loping and satisfying, whilst a gargling bass and sweeping reeces sit just above and inject all the force. 'A Snake' is also a wicked track, with a lovely, stripped back drum line that's full of moody sonics. Top stuff.

Fresh from appearing on the likes of Wobble & Bass, By The Producer and Kartoons, Bruk jumps aboard DJ Hybrid's fully rebooted and new talent championing Audio Addict for his debut full single on the label. Those familiar with his sound will already know the drill; loose drum swagger, big grooves and toxic bass textures. Highlights include the bubbling bassline funk and dreamy apreggios of "Arper", the whimsical, almost sprightly musicality of "Error" and the hot-shoe-shuffling chaos-making screamer that is "The Boot". Holy moly.
