[A] Nichenka Zoryana - Alibi:
Opening the EP is the release title track Alibi. A deep, soulful and thought provoking creation, designed to capture the sentiments of life within the sounds of a Drum & Bass track. Alibi contains an overriding portrayal of the sadness and sorrow witnessed throughout everyone's individual journey. All of which is harmonised by idyllic soothing tones, delicate crash cymbals and deep rumbling bass, to evoke the spirit of hope and to advocate that not everything is as impossible as it can seem in reality.

[B] Nichenka Zoryana - Ulmo Kvante:
Ulmo Kvante is a production that conveys a strong underlying message of belief and aspiration that surmounts the sombre undertone present throughout. The Deep nature of this Liquid Drum & Bass track, combines tantalising vocal additions with graceful piano, to create a distinctly nostalgic feel but reminds us to never be afraid to look forward to see what the future may hold.

[C] Nichenka Zoryana - Jazzmatic:
Jazzmatic is a track that radiates feel good vibes with a prevailing pleasant aura provided by jazzy piano and playful woodwind notes. Bathed in a warm glow that encapsulates the essence of  the arrival of Spring, whilst expansive bass and dual purpose strings are used to great effect to both simultaneously relax and stimulate your mind.

Completing the EP is Zaglavniy Money, a deep Drum & Bass track with optimism embodied into the heart and soul of this composition. Atmospheric in its approach, this diverse track features elevating strings, plus soft and gentle vocals to produce a warm and comforting feel with an element of mysteriousness, alongside a fast paced drum with an intertwined bass line, to create a sound synonymous with Nichenka's style.

ℹ️ | Bay 6 Recordings present the fourth edition of their compilation series Back to Bay 6, Vol.4. Much like the  previous records, the label aims to introduce fresh talent alongside their existent roster. Artists such as  Artsea, Beeson, Natus, and vocalist Aleya Mae contribute tracks alongside long-standing Bay 6 artists like  Colossus and Fearbace, as well as recent signees Option and AUDBL. The result is a rich take on drum &  bass, where artists are given the freedom to build upon the foundations of the genre.

Artsea's 'Summer's End' opens the record. Serenity is the atmosphere here, as the track leads with a gentle  piano riff. Modulated pads and driving percussion play out in the background, recalling the rise and fall of  waves crashing against the rocks. 

Colossus and Aleya Mae contribute 'Flight Patterns'. Technical drum programming, spherical synth  patterns and deep bass lines create a stirring base from which Aleya Mae delivers a soaring vocal full of extended harmonies. Texturally, the track is detailed, a dense combination of sounds designed to evoke  the deepest feelings. 

Elsewhere, AUDBL's 'Night’s Embrace' features undulating motifs and finely layered melody work lower in  the mix; Beeson's 'Cindy Stop It' is a minimal symphony defined by a gripping intro, and 'Find My Way' sees  Fearbace and Natus deliver a poignant take on drum & bass. 

Option's 'Prying Eyes' closes out the record. Perhaps the most club-ready track on the compilation, it's skittering drums take hold on the brain like a liquid symbiote, while nimble melodies and cavernous bass add the decoration.

[A] Crash Comet - Weapon:
For NVR050 Nu Venture Records welcome 2 additional producers to the artist roster alongside 2 talented female vocalists. Opening the release is Weapon, Crash Comet's sub genre spanning Vocal Drum & Bass track. Weapon is a dark love song with an overriding Liquid feel inspired by late night city life and recent political outcomes in the Western World. The intro presents haunting vocals accompanied by eerie electric guitar riffs to create a deep downtempo vibe. In contrast Weapon is also about standing up for yourself and overcoming your fears, so as the production progresses and the lyrics change, the tempo increases from minimalistic into an upbeat Drum and Bass track. In this portion of the song, cinematic strings and space inspired synths surround the listener, while an electrifying beat continues the energy into the final section of the track, to take you through the journey, or battle, that is known as life.

[B] Sehring Feat. Lokka Vox - I Will Love You:
To complete this 2 track release Nu Venture Records present the B side from Sehring, another new addition to the label, with his track I Will Love You. A Full vocal track in collaboration with the rising sensation that is South African based Lokka Vox. I Will Love You is an upbeat and vocal Liquid Drum & Bass track featuring clear and prominent guitar arpeggios on a cloudy melancholic vibe, leading to a storm of positively thunderous drums, combined with the powerful yet delicate vocals of Lokka Vox's distinctive voice. All aligned perfectly alongside warm and comforting synth strings to give this track it's true feel and sentiment.
