Passionate about music in general with a predominant taste for electronic music since 2007 until today, resuming production in the year 2022, influenced by genres such as: Electro Tribal; Electro House; House, TechHouse ; Dirty House , Funky TechHouse ; Dub Step Etc. With a special taste for distortions and innovation of sounds that merge and result in a characteristic and authentic sound.

Contributing to the underground scene, constantly working to perfect the musical art, developing a growing taste for electronic music in all its aspects.

Using FL Studio.

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
I discovered dirty bird on youtube in the year 2023.

Kevin Knapp & Andreas Henneberg, Borgez , Ray Vingh ...

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
The bright side of things.

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
I feel that I could not classify as the best presentation of an artist as such; since each one has a different way of expressing his art, the trick is to understand the way in which that artist expresses his art and in that way understand that this presentation is the best he can express at that moment.


-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
At the moment I am satisfied with what I have experienced since each individual has his place in destiny; but I would like to be in the beginning of time and be able to observe and understand how everything was created and what is the purpose of humanity.

-What species of bird best describes you and why?
The Eagle as the eagle mentality consists of adopting a strong and determined mental attitude with a clear vision and objective of what you want to achieve.

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
Record label for which I feel great motivation, a way to connect with other people, to express emotions through music with an authentic and characteristic touch out of the conventional.

King Fluff - Attitude

How long have you been creating music? I’ve been attempting to play music my whole life, but I started experimenting with digital production in 2015 — making silly remixes, learning to DJ, and producing some original tracks. In 2023, I decided to take it more seriously and commit my creative energy to releasing music consistently, with the hope that each track gets better than the last. I’m a huge fan of house music, so I make the kind of music I want to hear, dance to, and feel something from. My style leans toward high-energy, big sounds, blended with minimal tech house. I’d say my sound is still evolving — definitely follow along and see where it goes.

What do you use to make your tracks? Give me a laptop with Ableton and a pair of Beyerdynamic headphones (or AirPods in a pinch), and I can make music anywhere. Outside of my studio, my favorite place to produce is on an airplane — the longer the flight, the better. I build and record the track in Live View, then finalize everything in Session View.

How and when did you first discover Dirtybird? Claude VonStroke’s “Who’s Afraid of Detroit” completely broke my brain. It’s just so good — an instant classic that still hits. I’ve been listening to Dirtybird since Beware of the Bird dropped in 2006 and have followed every Claude album since. Artists like Style of Eye, Walker & Royce, the Martin Bros, and Fisher have all had a huge influence on my sound. That’s why getting accepted by Dirtybird feels like such a huge honor — it’s surreal, but also feels like a full-circle moment.

Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most? It has to be Claude. His sound is so recognizable and unique — I can always tell when it’s a Claude track. I’d love a peek behind the curtain, if you know what I mean. If we teamed up, who knows what kind of wild, silly banger we’d come up with.

If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you? BOY IN PARK — it’s an origin-story biopic. When I was 10, I was cast as “Boy in Park” in a major film starring Geena Davis and James Gandolfini. I had a speaking role, was featured in the trailer… but ended up cut from the actual movie.

What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to? Philipp Jung from M.A.N.D.Y. at the Robot Heart art car at Burning Man 2012. That set really stands out — it was just pure music, no frills, no flashy visuals, just an incredible vibe.

If you could time travel, where and when would you go? A few hundred years into the future, just to freak out my future family.

What species of bird best describes you and why? An Oak Titmouse — yeah, that’s a real bird. They visit my house, and they look badass with their little mohawks.

What does Dirtybird mean to you?
Before I knew any labels, I knew Dirtybird — it’s always gone hand in hand with quality electronic dance music. The curation is next-level, so being featured on their Birdfeed is a true honor. I’m pumped to show people what I’ve got.

Steve Gerard & ZOF are no strangers to the BOC family; at this point, they’re kind of part of the furniture. Not the kind of furniture you'd find in a house, though—the kind you'd find at the afters. A sluggish old couch, a few stains (of unknown origin), and a coffee table covered in the past 24 hours of mischief. If these walls could sing, they’d sound a little like this new banger, Obsession.

The track itself is a dark groover, set behind the seductive vocals of Zoë Roubanus, aka ZOF. Steve and ZOF have sculpted the perfect record out of their sessions together, delivering a track that will stand the test of time and fit into nearly any set. Featuring detuned keys, clever sampling, and a locked bassline, it’ll have you lost on the dance floor. This one's a true ‘eyes closed’ tune you could listen to on repeat for hours.

This dream team is onto something hot, and they ain’t playing games, they’re playing with beats, bass, and all the good stuff we know we want. Let’s rip!

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?
In 2016 I was looking for some tracks to prepare a DJ set and it was on a Beatport playlist looking for options when I heard a track by Claude VonStrok for the first time, I liked it and bought it. From there I discovered the label. Since then, I've really liked the sound it represents DirtyBird.

-Which Dirtybird artist would you most want to collaborate with?
Claude VonStroke, of course and Mat.Joe

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?
Life is too short not to be happy doing what you love.

-What's the best concert you've ever been to?
Daft Punk

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?
Guatemala City, Father's Day, June 2021

-What species of bird best describes you and why?
Difficult because there could be two.
The Quetzal: Because it is a bird that flies freely, it is part of its habitat to feel free, if it is in captivity or locked in a cage it dies.
The Eagle flies high and from miles away sees its target and goes for it.

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?
To create freely regardless of what others think of me, by connecting with the world through an idea

What isn't funny, though, is this new beast from Mancodex. ‘Amen Baby’ carries that unique Codex swagger we've come to know from the man himself. Dark tones, never-before-heard synth sounds, and processed vocals—if we were trying to contact aliens, we’d probably reference some of the sounds in this track.

We're always super impressed with Mancodex's take on dance music and what can come from a country so far away, all the way at the top of the planet.

Fresh off the announcement of this years lineup for Desert Hearts (which looks fantastic by the way) we have one of their longtime residents and recording artists Lubelski joining us in the studio this week for the mix. In addition he has recently had a couple of smash releases with Lapsus Music along with his buddy Rybo further cementing his foot hold in the tech house world that is exploding at the moment. Thumpasaurus is an insane 5 piece punk/funk band, that formed in LA at USC while I was in college. I'd see these guys tear it up at rowdy backyard house parties or in people's living rooms where sweat would drip from the ceiling... I cant explain how formative it was for me musically to see Thumpasaurus. They reignited my interest in live music, bands, etc. They're a huge musical inspiration of mine. 

This is a collaborative EP I made with the homies from Thump. Wayne's World is an original, sparked by an iphone recording of the bass player, Logan Kane hitting a beer bottle with a drum stick.. The rest of the EP is a bunch of edits/remixes that range from a simple DJ edit of I'm Too Funky to completely reimagined versions of songs like Space Barn and Dance Like It's Your Life. 

I'm such a fan of Thump, their music, their live show, and the guys themselves. Henry Was plays drums in the Fantastic Voyage Band and also has a bunch of original music coming thru the label! 
Paul Cornish, Logan Kane and Henry Solomon are world class Jazz Musicians who are seniors at USC. They're all prodigies who are gonna be insaaaanely big in the jazz world individually. Then there's Lucas Tamaren who I hear isn't originally from this planet. Lovechild of Rikki Rikki Goose and some crazy Tiger in an outerspace barn house...
