This song started with an emotion. After being inspired by Above & Beyond's recent acoustic album we felt compelled to create this track. The idea started as a completely laid back chill edit, but as you will hear it grew into something much much bigger than that. We really are trying to step into new territory with this sound and hope you guys feel the positive emotion we are trying to convey. This is going to be the last song in our live sets for the next year.

Premiered during the formidable duo’s record breaking Tomorrowland headline set, and one of the standout records of this years Miami Ultra Music Festival, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike alongside Turkish powerhouse producer Ummet Ozcan have penned an undisputable future classic with ‘The Hum’.

The track has been an untitled fan favourite ID for months thanks to it’s roaring presence and ability to unite fans in their packs. The Belgian brothers have finally decided to release this clubland scaling hit under the title ‘The Hum’ following its explosive inclusion in their big surprise 3 Are Legend appearance, alongside their musical brother Steve Aoki, at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. The track had the Miami crowd primed and ready setting the tone for one of the most exhilarating sets of the entire weekend.

Belgian producer and Tomorrowland resident Yves V is no stranger to Smash The House, having appeared on the label before with collaborations such as ‘Memories Will Fade’ alongside Promiseland, and ‘King Cobra’ with Don Diablo. Now he makes his solo debut on the imprint, with his new track ‘Octagon’.

From the off it’s clear that Yves is made for the Smash The House family, as ‘Octagon’ launches straight into the epitome of high energy electro house. Combining stomping rhythms with roof-raising synths, this one is perfectly crafted to get you in the mood for some serious dancefloor devastation. Building into a proper mainstage anthem, ‘Octagon’ is designed with festivals in mind, and will get plenty of chance to prove its worth at the likes of TomorrowWorld in Atlanta, where Yves is also a resident DJ and is playing the same bill as Smash The House bosses Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, who are giving this one plenty of mileage themselves.

Having been featured in the Tomorrowland 2012 official aftermovie that’s received over 40 million views, ‘Mammoth’ is surely already one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the new year.

The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”
 
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013. To put it plainly, it’s going to be MAMMOTH!
