Welcome to the NWA Network!  This channel was created to provide an even deeper dive into the personalities, stories and journey of the famed National Wrestling Alliance to compliment the content created on other platforms.  
 
Episode One focused on the famous Ten Pounds of Gold and the man who currently holds it. 
 
On Feburary 11th from Champiosnhip Wrestling From Hollywood, the currrent reigning and defending NWA Worlds Heayvweight Champion Nick Aldis will embark on a journey.  Entitled The Aldis Crusade with Ten Pounds of Gold, the champion has declared he will face over twenty opponents in sixty days with the NWA Worlds Championship on the line each day.  In this very special address, Mr. Aldis take time to let the audience into his mindset, drive and reason behind making such a bold move as the Worlds Heavyweight Champion.  


This Aldis Crusade with Ten Pounds of Gold will be documented in the critically acclaimed Ten Pounds of Gold series on YouTube.com/NWA and here on the NWA network with longer cuts of interviews and moments not found anywhere else.

Fortune Favors the Brave - NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis Address - Episode 1

On October 1st 2017, William Patrick Corgan took control of the famed National Wresting Alliance after purchasing the brand.  With media stories in Rolling Stone, The AP, Sports Illustrated, Billy stated his twenty-year plan for the NWA.  This interview took place in the first week of October before the Ten Pounds of Gold series began and the content strategy began to be executed.  We present this interview so you can see the building blocks for where the NWA is heading in it’s 70th year all the way back to the launch of October 2017.

NWA President William Patrick Corgan October 2017 Interview from Sirius XM’s Busted Open

The news that James Ellsworth showed up in the NWA had everyone talking this past weekend.  Here is an exclusive interview with James before the NWA Worlds Title Match.

The Aldis Crusade with Ten Pounds of Gold kicked off when James Ellsworth was chosen by Austin Idol to face Nick Aldis. This unlikely challenger is best known for being the valet for Carmella, his matches against Braun Strowman and Becky Lynch, but it’s victories over AJ Styles that brought him to the Aldis Crusade. The underdog competitor made his nwa debut yesterday at Championship Wrestling From Hollywood as he fit the criteria set forward by Nick Aldis and Austin Idol on who could be the first challenger for the Ten Pounds of Gold

The Aldis Crusade will see the NWA Champion Nick Aldis (or whoever defeats Aldis) go forth to defend the Ten Pounds of Gold over twenty times over the next sixty days. Reaction to James Ellsworth being chosen has brought a flood of response and opinions on his worth as challenger. Austin Idol defended the choice stating that Ellsworth’s resume while eclectic does fit the criteria.

James Ellsworth - Future NWA Worlds Champion?

The wrestling world is still buzzing about the sell out of ALL IN.  The show created by Cody and The Young Bucks shocked th wrestling world when tickets went on sale and were gone in under thirty minutes.  The NWA's involvement in the show wasn't known until the day of the press conference.  William Patrick Cogan (aka Billy Corgan) announced that the Ten Pounds of Gold would be defended on September 1st and it was Cody Rhodes who announced he would be the challenger.  This set off a chain reaction of events with the current, reigning NWA Worlds Champion Nick Aldis who released a video stating there would be no title match at ALL IN without someone talking to him.  Aldis followed up by challenging the Young Buck to a match in Edinburgh, Scotland during a Ring of Honor.  In this breaking news update, Nick Aldis annoucnes when he plans on speaking publicly on this incident.
