Brooklyn (I tried)

I wrote this song near the end of 2020. I was very ill, and probably the most depressed I've been in a minute. Getting up out of bed just to live another day was so hard, then I started chanting to myself that getting up is easy. Making this song came shortly after. Honestly, it helped save my life.

This is me in such a raw form, which is why I though it be the last song I share on here for a while. I've been working on a cleaner and more developed version of it, but I really thought this raw demo deserved a place in the world somewhere. It will be nice to come back to it to see my growth when updated version is finished.

Just my voice and a keyboard. Here's to making it another year, and making it look easy.
