This remix is a tribute to the spirit of resistance, freedom, and emotion that the series embodies. I added textures from acoustic guitar, accordion, and bandoneon — instruments that evoke both nostalgia and rebellion — and layered them with a progressive EDM beat to give it a more rhythmic heartbeat.

It's also a personal milestone: this is my last remix before transitioning into fully original music. After this track, I’ve committed myself entirely to telling my own musical stories — and I’m more inspired than ever.

Originally released under my old alias DJ Flektor, this version of “About Us” transforms the hip hop vibes of Brooke Hogan ft Paul Wall into a smooth, nostalgic progressive house track.

Interestingly, I only recently discovered the original song. The female vocals were sourced years ago from an acapella pack online, long before internet streaming was common.

The vocal track was slowed down and layered with accordion and bandoneon sounds, giving it a relaxed, emotional atmosphere that fits perfectly within the progressive house genre.

This remix is rooted in a melody I had stuck in my head years ago.

Heavily inspired by the deep, melodic style of artists like Edward Maya, I set out to create a track that combined electronic energy with acoustic texture — and the sound of an accordion became the centerpiece of that idea.

I came across the acapella of Rebecca Knight in a producer forum, and even though the vocal key didn’t perfectly match the instrumental, I loved how the elements blended into something moody and hypnotic.

Released in 2015 under the alias DJ Flektor, “Poison” was one of my first experiments with combining vocals, emotion and progressive house. It marks an early attempt to bring more humanity and soul to my music.

This remix was born thanks to a friend who introduced me to BANG YE DAM’s emotional track "WAYO" — a voice filled with fragility and depth. It was my first time remixing a Korean pop ballad, and I wasn’t sure how it would turn out. But as soon as I heard the vocal, I knew it had potential in a more energetic context.

This progressive house version still carries the emotional weight of the original, but adds warmth, rhythm, and a feeling of hopefulness. It was a beautiful experiment that surprised even me — and a small homage to K-pop and the global reach of music.
