For FrenzyPodcast #102 we’ve invited an artist who actually doesn’t need an introduction anymore: the Parisian DJ/Producer Mayeul. As a founding member of the infamous Molekül records, Mayeul gained wide attention and attraction to his musical work. With his characteristic driving and old school sound Mayeul left his mark in many European clubs, and beyond.

Mayeul has been meticulously collecting tracks for the right track selection for FrenzyPodcast #102, and that’s something you can definitely hear. He went digging in the older segment of his record collection, and came out with some pearls. Listen to the sound of Mayeul here, enjoy!

With his long time residency at Gotec Club Karlsruhe and his exceptional vinyl sets all over southern germany he is one of the most well-known faces of the scene.

As founder of the Karlsruhe-based event-series "Oscillation field" he shares his own taste and vision of techno by inviting legends and artists like Thomas P. Heckmann, Hector Oaks, Janein or Parallx.

Originally from the south of Germany, now Paris based artist Ferdinger pushes a dynamic and versatile sound, walking the line between melodic profusion and stripped-back minimalism.
Key elements are evolution and variety of repetition, with a focus on unique timbres, structural form and diverse sound textures.
He has released on labels such as ARTS or Ismus and also runs his own label Life In Patterns, which has recently seen its fourth vinyl release.
After lately dropping podcasts for the mighty crews of Ismus and RAW we are thrilled to welcome Ferdinger to the nyctophilia podcast series.

Bene H better known by his alias Vøid has a specific and focused idea for each set. The mix for Wav:es (Berlin) came from the inspiration of one of his biggest idols, Stef Mendesidis. Hardgroove, Harddrive as well as Hypontic, Groovy form his musical spectrum. At the moment he plays events at the Yoko Club (Hamburg) and is part of some, private parties in his hometown Munich. Soon there will be self-produced projects.

Partygoer for a few years, his desire to find himself on the other side of the stage has been felt. Its titles are promoted and played well-known headliners such as Paula Temple. 
Otherwise, OFFËNSIV recently released his label Thump Out Traxx with hie sidekick Bours?.

nyctophilia Podcast 037 - OFFËNSIV

Kevin S. aka Olorr developed his taste for fast and tribal-influenced music back in his home town of Graz. To pursue his passion further, his founded the local music group Tennis Lektüre to organize events and monthly podcasts from his like minded surroundings.

With a distinct view on music and a clear vision of his personal expression, his endeavors led him to create Wiener Gerüstbau when he moved to Austria’s capital eventually.

When fellow artists Specific Objects, Pech+Schwefel and Ehrenschwester hopped on board the match was made and a collective founded. The music platform, radio show, podcast series and upcoming label is focused mainly on highly effective old-school Techno cuts and its modern interpretation. In his performances you will realize a lot of diversity, from dirty broken beats until to the so called Schranz.

MASS Sessions #246 | Vermeer

The Berlin-based DJ/producer duo Vermeer merges experimental sound design and cinematic- music like atmosphere on fast techno grooves. Especially influenced by futuristic scores à la Sci- Fi-Noir their detail-oriented sets definitely result in sounds one
rarely experiences on dancefloors.

Their unconventional approach however does not make the DJ sets any less danceable as they put special emphasis on only selecting driving peak-time techno and mixing it with a large yet-
to-be-released selection of their own.

For years they have been involved in the Berlin underground party collective "Selected Berlin" that also turned into a label last year and already hosts releases from some of the scenes most promising names such as Chlär, SWART, DIMI or The Chronics. Hosting and playing at parties among many prominent acts for years, Vermeer is deeply ingrained in Berlins underground techno-scene.

After years of shaping their very own signature sound, Vermeer now has a tight schedule of releases that are about to be dropped in 2022. Their first EP "Tokyo In" already got support by well-established names such as Slam and Patrick Mason.
