This song was written June 9, 2019. That was exactly 7 days after my mother's only other child, my big brother, was shot 20+ times and killed in my hometown of New Orleans, LA. This song is an extension of all of the pain I felt and still feel today. I know that I'm not the only person to lose someone to this kind of lifestyle/Tragedy. So I, with the help of my good friend Mello created this song in order to let people know that moving on with your life with this kind of pain will take "One Step" at a time.
