I worry too much for opinion most of the time. 
I seek clarity fro the world more than It does me. I wonder if anyone cares sometimes coz I'm far too drenched in unsatifactories.

I discovered that we are our worst critiques so I decided to share my small self hating self just so no one has to feel alone in this ambivalent struggle. 
Maybe we are all small little girls.

I haven't posted in a while so I decided to read a few excerpts from my book, "MIRRORED" which was published by Mikka Kabugo and Chisom Onyishi(@sovemba on instagram).

Self Hate

How many of my NO’s turned into false, silent and confusing YES’ under your persistent persuasion?

How many times did I tighten my lips till your wet pressing lips tore them open only for you to then push your tongue past my screaming “STOP”?

How many times did I beg my thighs to stay closed fighting your forceful grip to keep them open?

How many times did your confusing 
‘just this once’ 
‘wait’ 
‘I’m almost done’ 
make me stare into space wishing time could freeze? 

How many times did my body give up while my mind raced in panic
While my heartbeat was all frantic
While gravity called my tears of me, not being the strong girl I thought I could be in this moment...

We did not make love you silly sick fuck!
You raped me!
And after that, somehow I still blamed me.

Persistent Persuasion

I was up late and I somewhat found myself laughing at myself for some things that have turned out to be a joke.

"I remember how hard I tried to compete with you. 
Mentally of course.
I’m not sure if I was competing with you 
or for you 
but at the end of the day, I fell out. 

I tried all these things just to be 
myself only for me to realize that 
you had so much on your plate.

I remember reconciliation. 
I think you needed something. 
I took it lightly coz I wanted to be at least well acquainted 
but now I realize that people don’t change. 

I felt like chemically altered 4C natural hair that just wanted to feel more accepted. 
Like an unrequited lover, a burnt bridge...
But now, we cool.

I  find myself melting away into your body. 
It feels like some sort of epiphany drapes itself all over my naked self and  finds its way to remarkably satisfy my endless ache for you.

my switch, being your mouth, 
my mouth waters like i haven’t eaten in years. Like Oliver Twist, I ask for more..but
my request bounces back just like the very echo I transmitted. 

Come along with me my love, for this relentless horn and mouth watering seems like the start of something i can’t seem to end.
