The follow up to 2012 acclaimed All The Wars is entitled 'Magnolia' and is due to be released on Kscope on 15th September.

The band's line up of Bruce Soord (Guitars, vocals), Jon Sykes (Bass guitars, backing vocal) and Steve Kitch (Keyboards) has been completed by the addition of Dan Osborne on drums.

Soup plays alternative rock, and is generally described as delightful, delightful megalomania which almost miraculously never trips over in their gigantic ambitions. Soup waits your table with epic melodies filled to the brim with grandeur, reaching climax after climax in the most exquisite manner. They were deemed «Norway’s best kept secret» after releasing «Children of E.L.B.»

Soup has previously released three albums (Come On Pioneers, 2008 and Children of E.L.B., 2010 and DUUN, 2013) who all were critically acclaimed both in Norway and abroad, as well as the band manifesting itself as a rock solid live act.

The coming fall will see the release of their fourth album (27th September), with a box fresh lineup featuring members from Jack Dalton, Miran and We Were Lightning, in addition to Soup’s founder Erlend Viken. Transient Days is the first single from their upcoming album.
Rumour has it a 7-inch single will hit the shelves any moment, stay tuned!
