"Cosmic Pint Glass" is certainly not really famous yet but nonetheless one of the most promising new label from Uk. We noticed the imprint with its very first release by "Ruf Dug" and uploaded some tracks from their third instalment by "Duke Slammer" on a youtube channel of ours.  As winter kicks in its nice to know there are parts of the world where its still sunny and hot. Cosmic Pint Glass release an EP to help you get sweaty on the dancefloor while reminding you of these hot tropical locations. Artists "Simple Symmetry", "Selvy" (who will soon deliver a LYO mix)talented swiss "Jack Pattern" and "Pan Solo" have teamed up to create an EP of powerful heat!  Russian brother duo "Simple Symmetry" soundtracks the final leg of the ep using particularly tribal drums and a meanly played kalimba. Driving the track forward is an unmistakably bass line but our arrival isn't fully signalled until the Simple Symmetry chaps finally crack out the pan pipes and the whole village go mental ! Vinyl should land within a few days in all good dealers around the globe

The single is backed up with remixes from 'Millionhands' head honcho and recent 'Aus Music' signing Tee Mango, Berlin-based Edmondson - who’s releases on Hypercolour and his own imprint Lissoms have seen support across the spectrum - from rattling in Panorama bar, the Radio 1 airwaves and all in between. And finally Southern Fried Records’ exciting newcomer, Jona Sul.

Multi-faceted Irish musician David Kitt aka New Jackson returns to Permanent Vacation in full force, riding high from releasing his critically acclaimed debut album "From Night To Night", which was filled with rich melodies, dusty synth pop, late-night boogie and cinematic deep house. For his third PV EP, New Jackson tightens the strings and brings back the bounce with two rather floor-friendly tracks that are still deeply rooted in the unique New Jackson universe. To round things up "Feather By Feather" is a love-trenched early morning anthem, which is the perfect soundtrack for doing all things that are nice in this world.

Richard Rossa - Discow Ztrummer

The summer months always enable the Futureboogie label clan to recharge batteries (whenever possible), hit the festival circuit with aplomb, and pull out another Summer Riot EP, and, as ever, a team of the label’s favourite producers are assembled to deliver the goods.

Christophe leads the charge with the decidedly bleepy ‘Unity Vibez’, channelling the old school Sheffield sound through a myriad of breakbeats, floating keys, techno DX bass and spiralling melodies for a track that’s just as much in the present as it is in the past.

Already with two Futureboogie singles under his belt, Kiwi makes a sterling contribution to the seventh Summer Riot EP with ‘Abaco’. The electro tinged beats and rasping synth lead menacingly unfurl as a transcendental melody plays out over this distinctly potent track.

Neil Diablo completes the EP with the Italo driven ‘Shot Caller’; thick arpeggiated synths coil around beefed up drums as percussive elements get a good reverb soaking, intense and highly infectious stuff from Monsieur Diablo here!

Since a year or so I've been sharing my studio space with Ramses3000. The enigmatic DJ and producer has always been someone who's interests had been split between two worlds: world music (for the lack of a better term) and dance music. His electro-chaabi act 'Cairo Liberation Front' is a testament of this. Around this time, a year ago, we started working together on his solo debut, with 'Genie Wit A Message (In A Bottle)' as the result. London based Brazilian artist Laima announces the 12” vinyl release of ‘Disco Pregnancy’. The release follows from her double-vinyl debut album ‘Home’, released by DEEWEE last November. ‘Home’ is a striking proposition. It’s a package which features two records that are designed to be played simultaneously: Laima’s vocal and synth tracks on the ‘Tonal’ disc alongside Iggor’s beats on the ‘Rhythmical’ record. By syncing the two records listeners are offered an unconventional way to experience the music.

The ‘Disco Pregnancy’ 12” will be released on 6th March 2020 and for the first time features the combined Tonal + Rhythmical versions of album tracks ‘Disco Pregnancy’ and ‘Home’, all recorded, produced and mixed by Stephen & David Dewaele (Soulwax/2manydjs).
