It's been a long time since I released a mix but I decided that this year and this Pride were especially better than last year's so, I put this together for you. For me, the #Pride parties of the pre-covid era evoked the best memories of feel good music, diva vocals, and light-hearted airy jams that just make you smile. This is nothing like the dark, twisted sound I usually go for at the 4am warehouse rave, this is everything from 80s to Justin Bieber to Kaskade to nostalgia house and tech-house that works....well, for me at least. When Austin Night-Life Royalty, Socialite & Animatrice ~ Julian Bendana ~ invited me to his party and I found out he only had one DJ on the line-up, I offered my musical help for the festivities. The vibe was DOPE, the party goers were out in full force, and I was honored that I got to spin along side local DJ celeb Saul Mojica ;) The feedback on our sets was hot and although I didn't record it the night of, I saved my RB history and recreated a portion of my set here just for you.  It's not perfect but nothing ever is; especially when it's recorded in one take. Massive filthy trippy ass ghetto bass is the prescription. Cheers!

Here is my DJ set recorded live at Plush for the most recent Mid-Western Sessions party. It isn't technically perfect - we had been hitting the Long Island Iced Teas a bit hard before my set that night LOL - but I don't think I've ever made or published a technically perfect mix so who cares???? I didn't edit or change anything in the mixing or anything shady like that, I just limited up the levels a bit so it sounds as massive as possible. Shout out to DJ Knos who is the BOSS!!!

Recorded live at the Sucia Party @ Plush in Austin, July 12, 2015. I ended up going a bit more techno with this than my usual break-beat bass-tech. However, I still managed to werque in some broken-beats OF COURSE :D 

The crowd that came out just fucking killed it and we had sooooo much fun. I wanna thank my friends Lexi, Aaron, Evan, Katie, Jose, Brian aka Knos, Ryan, the other Ryan, John David, Ric, and soooo many others for coming out and/or working the venue. It was hard to concentrate with all your sexy moves on the floor ;) 

Plus DJs Mouthfeel, Boyfriends & Evening Bag who came together to spin and brought the MAD heat in their sets for Sucia - thank you all for making it a collaborative musical right & tight night that I'll never forget!!!
