Nympheas is the brain child of Detroit-based electronic artist Dylan Day. Drawing on influences that range from techno to industrial-dance to dream pop to electro and a myriad of other things, Day has been a member of the local Detroit music scene for well over 2 decades. Day has been composing and producing music since the age of 16, and began his musical journey in the early 90's with Detroit-based industrial-dance outfit Kunststoff 23. Nympheas is Day's latest project, and although he employs a variety of instruments in his writing (including bass guitar and acoustic electric guitar), the majority is synthesizer and sampler based.  From the pounding dance rhythms and the pulsating bass, to the slick synthesized strings and harmonic vocals, nympheas has one goal in mind: to move you. It’s dark. It’s lush. It’s lovely. Listen.
