Djöflamenntir

Nyrst formed in 2013 as a 3 man black metal band influenced by bands such as Bathory, Emperor, Immortal, Taake and various death metal bands. In 2014 two members were added to the lineup and shortly after the band started writing their own music and played several gigs in the Reykjavik area and on a off-venue during the Eistnaflug festival in Iceland. The music is known for having a mix of first wave black metal with many death metal elements to it.
