The term quality over quantity is painfully overused, but in Jay Clarke’s case it’s a fitting descriptive for the way the UK artist approaches every facet of his musical career. A trusted Klockworks artist, he’s contributed two acclaimed EPs (KW18, KW28) and a track (‘Perdita’) to the KW20 compilation, while Ben Klock has selected him to play Photon events at Berghain, Bassiani and Awakenings at Gashouder.

From 2015 to 2020, Jay was a trusted fabric resident before graduating from their resident’s programme; a colourful and dynamic DJ, playing across the Techno spectrum. He is best known for his energetic and groovy peak-time DJ sets across Europe and beyond, taking heavy influence from 90’s Techno. He seamlessly blends together modern rollers with percussive loopy hard-groove, alongside straight-up heavy bangers. DJ Mag rightly heralded his skills, stating: ‘Jay is considered in his approach, but unconstricted by stylistic boundaries, happy to mix nosebleed slammers with heady rollers and even more upbeat or electro efforts’.

Jay also runs the thoughtfully-curated BLACKAXON label, a creative outlet allowing him to showcase sounds from across the Techno and wider Electronic spectrum, including releases from emerging talents such as Yant and David Piras, forthcoming releases from Kaylah and Alex Morgan, as well as his own free-wheeling work. 

 In 2020 Jay went on to release his debut EP on Slam’s iconic Soma Records imprint, followed by a remix of Goldie at the behest of the Metalheadz legend, with further releases to come on BLACKAXON and Soma.

Positive, hard-working and a gifted DJ and producer, Jay Clarke’s determination and unwavering passion for learning put him in a class of his own. Within a few short years Jay has established himself as one to watch and, with the backing of some of the techno world’s most respected outfits, he is on course to exceed all expectations.

Miguel Amador Medina known as MÄEM is a young promise of techno, born in Ciudad Real but located in the Spanish capital. This artist discovered his passion for electronics very early, from the beginning he knew that techno was his genre. His sets are characterized by providing a forceful line of techno with experimental, rough, dynamic and mental sounds and textures and thus being able to carry out an ever-ascending performance, which makes them a musical journey. Selector and executor in the combination of the most current and old sound which makes everything make sense in your mixes. Currently MÄEM belongs to the 100x100 techno collective. Developing his role as promoter and resident contributing his vision and knowledge of the scene. His performances are shared with big names on the national and international scene such as: Regis, Function, James Ruskin, Mark Broom, Kwartz, Roll Dann, Audiolux and Lowsystem among others...
 We must continue and pay attention to this artist in the near future as he has a great future, aspirations and projects in mind.

Yax is a techno DJ from Adelaide, Australia drawing influence from the likes of artists such as DVS1, Jeff Mills, and Setaoc Mass. His style is continuously evolving through extensive digging for deep, groovy, hypnotic, and minimal techno, as he takes inspiration from the 90s and early 00s era, while still adding a modern twist to his sets. Yax also curates a weekly podcast series called Yax Invites, which began in 2021 with the aim of showcasing talent from around the world with an emphasis on extended techno mixes.
