The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

Deano and Faretrade join forces to launch the DFT sublabel on Knowledge Imprint. The inaugural release is a five track EP recorded between Berlin and Cape Town over the course of a year, representing a creative, exploratory dialogue between friends. 

Most of the tracks were originally recorded as one-take jams with the Elektron Machine Drum, Novation Peak, SH-101, and Lyra-8 prior to heavy editing and processing. The synth work is loose, with strong ostinato and staccato elements against stripped back, raw percussion. 

No fuss, no frills.

It was in 2011 when I first dived into the universe of techno, exploring all its subgenres and digging deeply to find the hidden talent within.

In 2020 I began creating my own music—a work that remains in constant progress today. Rediscovering, reintroducing, and reconfiguring the context; with each interpretation aimed at crafting an atmosphere rooted in techno and generative art.

I’ve worked in collaboration with Balls, Keyhole Records, Liberta Records, NYXII, and many more.

Throughout this year, I’ve focused on shaping and perfecting my own sound as it evolves, remaining faithful to its characteristic sound of quest.

This mix was recorded by a selection of Stier's own music as well as collaborations with other artists.
