@crystallmess is a Parisian producer, DJ and the host of the Unleashed show on NTS. Her beat-driven experimental selection features the freshest naughty findings from the near and far underground dancefloors and lots of her own tasty mashups. 

Crystallmess’s work has been presented at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris, Geneva Biennale, Ars Electronica in Linz, La Gaité Lyrique in Paris, Espace Arlaud in Lausanne. Mere Noises was her first self-release, followed by a SPLIT 12" EP with @to-xe on @pan_hq. Currently she’s working on a new EP and collaborating with other artists through compilations, scores for films and fashion shows.

Crystallmess’s borshch mix is built around a push and pull movement, similar to the one we are facing now with the multiple lockdowns. “One day, your area is open, one day it's not. When it opens, it's hectic like a jungle beat, when it closes back it sounds nebulous and evanescent, slower.” The mix includes some of her edits as well as unreleased by Aho Ssan and ethereal ambient reworks by Iceboy Violet.

Ahmad returns to AGN7 Audio, with "The Shaman" EP, easily one of his best yet.

This collection of tunes is very reminiscent of early 2000s Photek and Paradox, as well as a bit of late 90s Optical. Very tough beats that easily find their way into the dancefloor, ranging from techstep to very restrained and precise drumfunk elements.

Like a blossoming mind-fungus, the microtextual world of upsammy hums with the uncanny seepage of the organic. Effortlessly blending translucent tones and funky rhythms, the Amsterdam artist creates a natural groove that flows through different speeds of spatial vibes and dreamy soundscapes. Collaborating with visual artist Jonathan Castro in many of her live shows, they craft psyched-out landscapes, playing with contradictions of comfort and solitude. These are beautiful companion pieces to her ephemerally-hitting DJ sets, drawing from trippy experimental DnB and offbeat techno.

After his last harsh YOU DON'T LIKE IT? EP together with comorad Hakan Lidbo and the TRIBUTE TO GRACE JONES EP Oliver Greschke aka Magnum 38 shows his ear teasing and tantalizing technique. While Tribute to Grace Jones was an EP with vocal samples (guess from who) this time he was able to work with the real voice of one and only Mz Sunday Luv. You will find her voice on an avalanche of other releases this season as well.

The EP will be released in Oktober 2010 on Apparition Recordings, runned by Jacob Seville a well known DJ/Producer/Labelowner from Poland.
