Summer has arrived and with it our first club release in ages, a high energy burner by KΣITO from Tokyo, Japan. We are more than excited to welcome this talented MPC finger drummer Keito Suzuki to fiery post-lockdown dance floors. He draws inspiration from the South African Gqom and percussive music, and in his own stately way he merges big room intensity with an experimental explosion of weirdness. Expect bare bones techno, full of earworm hooks. Tolouse Low Trax and Kӣr complement this record with a bunch of psychedelic remixes, creating a great balanced journey.

French musicians Alban Mercier (https://soundcloud.com/officiumofficium  https://soundcloud.com/endedforlife) and Eric Desjeux (Tzii) team up after years of friendship for a 9-tracks collaborative album. The duo’s first recording attempt is a highly evocative and melancholic album based on the pair personal archives, techniques and souvenirs. A collection of twisted voices, haunting synths and percussions combining Tzii’s composition skills with Officium’s field recordings, chant and bleak approch of sound.

“WATCHING MYSELF FORGET WITH NO RESISTANCE” is an intimate research on perception, memory and inward visions : sometimes violent, yet poetic and definitely elegiacal.

Things that don't exist, that don't seem to exist, or we don't believe exist, might be the only things that actually exist.
Things that i always believed that existed, seem to be an illusion.
And things that i always denied the existence of in the past, seem to be what shape reality and rule the world.
But what is reality? And what is illusion?
Is the reality i am seeing the same as yours?
Perhaps not.

”Senno I” is the solo debut album by Tot Onyx aka Tommi Tokyo, who has been a founding member of the Japanese performance art/live electronics duo group A since 2012. They incorporated the use of the body in their noise & poetry-performances and they made some resonating appearances at festivals like Berlin Atonal. Adept at bending expectations, both live and recorded, the band’s formative early work echoes the experiential vocabulary in which Tommi continues to develop today. A practice in the rejection of tradition and cliché, which in Greil Marcus's words, "Share the principles of negation, rebellion, destruction and détournement”.

Tommi Tokyo has worked in graphic design and photography and has worked for theatre and other forms of stage arts. Tot Onyx is her deeply personal project which shares the founding energies of group A, but is traveling deeper and elsewhere. This is a rich study of her interior life.

We welcome to our roster Mariachiara Troianiello, the Italian sound artist behind the moniker Katatonic Silentio.

“Middle Ages” opens with seemingly dark and melancholic atmospheres, where the heavily processed electric guitar becomes the beating heart of the whole soundscape. Every note vibrates through metallic reverberations and abrasive distortions, as if the sound itself was decomposed and reconstructed by machinery. The tones are sharp, but not cold. Electronic instruments, including synthetic drones and rhythmic glitches, weave a dense, layered sound, alternating between moments of fragile stillness and sudden bursts of noise. Each track seems to represent a clash between humanity and technology, where melodies slowly disappear in a sea of feedback and noise, leaving room for an abstract but deeply emotional sound world.

The album is a sensory experience, a journey between roughness and beauty, where the tension between analogue and digital sound turns into a cry of disillusionment, but also of resistance.
