Here is the first part of something. It needs a middle section for sure and then probably a repeat of the beginning, an ABA structure. Orchestration-wise I am open to anything, it doesn't have to be straight piano.

This is for a friend/lover of mine who died almost 2 years ago. We have a 30 year old daughter. So it is kind of a melancholic love song.

Here is another revision. Added a change from Bb to Bb minor and from 4/4 to 12/8. Not sure if it works or not and it is still missing some other pieces.
