When I look around myself I am often left in awe by the infinite abundance of love and opportunities I have been blessed with, and of my immense fortune to be born during this extraordinary period in human history. A period signifying the inflection point in our collective evolution brought about by recognizing the significance of integrating intuition with intellect and our interconnectedness with all there is.

The past few months for me have been particularly poignant, often leaving me in a state of deep gratitude for being able to experience the immense beauty of this world and all aspects of being human; both the pleasurable and the painful. This mix was inspired by the perpetual state I currently find myself in; one in which I am (happily) unable to discern between reality and fantasy. 

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to each and every person that has been a part of this journey with me.  May we all be able to come together to create a more compassionate and peaceful reality and see past this grand illusion that we are separate from each other.

Ngawang Chotak (a.k.a. Chris Kolb) is a well-known and respected teacher of Buddhist meditation and philosophy. He has been a student of Mahayana Buddhism for over thirty years and currently teaches at Tse Chen Ling Buddhist Center in San Francisco. Chotak also serves as a project assistant at San Francisco General Hospital and chemical dependency counselor in private practice. He is especially skilled at addressing the concerns of Western students and his teachings are at once profound and accessible.
