O-Zone is a band formed by six young musicians from Guwahati, Assam. The band was formed in early 2007 with a different line-up including Avijoy on Guitar, Rishvik on Bass, Avik on vocals, Angshuman on the Keyboard and Priyankar on the drums. Towards the end of 2008, Anurag joined the band as the 2nd guitarist and Avik was replaced by Shantanu on the Vocals and Aman Replaced Rishvik on the bass towards the end of 2009 and early 2010 respectively.
Till date, the line-up has not changed, O-Zone won the 3rd prize in PHOBIAX '09 out of 19 bands from different states of North East. The show was organized by SANZZ.com.
O-Zone also performed at various other shows like SYNCHISIS 09 , PHOBIAX 08, Opening band competition for SCORPIONS, etc. Their latest show, at Assam Rifles School in Shillong, was a great success as well. Till date, the band has 5 originals to its name, which includes the all new "AiDs (Alone in dreadful suffering)" and "Your Presence".
