In case you are unaware, Slacky is a DJ and curator based in West Yorkshire who runs the Space Ritual label. In addition to this, he is a co-director of the wonderful Narr Radio. 

Being heavily influenced by acid house, techno, krautrock and psychedelic music, his mixes often create an intergalactic voyage for the dance-floor and today's mix is no different, featuring the likes of CPI, Zu Mu Party Crew, Coil, Jenson Intercepter, I-F, and much much more.

A dedicated digger of 90's and early 00's trance, he has a discerning ear that can find the good stuff - tracks which are on the edge and absolute bombs in the right hands - and weave them together in a way that keeps the NRG pulsating from the first kick drum. 

This is the kind of mix I've been dreaming about for the series, featuring records I own but am too scared to play - it's a proper throwback to formative years getting off my nut waving glowsticks around at God's Kitchen and Sundissential in Birmingham. 

Would highly recommend this on a sunny day, a late night or any time you need a smile putting on your face.

As one of the festival's final moments, it created a unified, unforgettable atmosphere, with the purest form of love and connection filling the space. The valley echoed with their contagious groove, making it a moment you wished would never end.

This year, they're teaming up with Meadowlark as ‘Top Floor’ for an extended back-to-back set, promising to elevate the energy to new heights and deliver the perfect balance of deep minimal beats. Not long now and we’ll be there together once again 🌱

Stepping up to contribute IA MIX 383, Alex Albrecht (@melquiadesmusic) delivers a live set from the Natural Order festival in the Australian state of Victoria. Based around improvised, unreleased solo works, this is a gorgeous piece of ambient-leaning electronica. A few years ago, @jensthomas found himself in a Discogs wormhole of some 90s ambient techno albums, such as Global Communication's 76:14 alike – these records had deep, downtempo, drony, weird, emotional, uptempo and whatever kind of tracks, yet the listening experience feels like a continuous mix instead of fragmented tracks that make up an album or whatever, so he wanted to put together an own mix that had the same attitude and quality since then, where it feels like a slow journey, though there is little to no beatmatching. There you go friends.
