San Fernando Valley, California native Gio grew up immersed in funk and surrounded by 818 culture. This lead Gio to discover ground-breaking communication company Oake Village in 2020. Since the inception, Oake Village has established and funded multiple music projects and multiple music videos. 

Oake Village has launched to develop and connect other San Fernando Valley artists, each whom who aim to advance the 818 culture to include a global community of artists and audiences. Their grassroots expansion is a model of how to stay authentic to community roots in the constant evolving digital age of music. 

In December 2021, Gio issued video "Feedback" as a ruminative prelude to his debut mixtape "Every Man Is A Fox." A concise 10-track project, Oake Village established its presence within modern 818 culture. In December 2025, Oake Village released its 12th mixtape "Hold Your Foxes" by Gio
