It was pure energy to play again in the club after one and a half years on the sweet Tsunami soundsystem. Thanks to the nice audience who showed so much love and made this night really special. 
Unfortunately the original recording was heavily distorted. But because of the strong vibes I decided to re-record this set. So this is a version without pull-ups and mic speeches ;)

Dank’N’Dirty is back again with its annual compilation releasing on April 20th worldwide.

Following the milestone of ‘12 years of Dank’ the 2022 compilation comes with 12 carefully curated tracks to make the perfect soundtrack to your 4/20 celebrations.

‘Pushloop’ kicks off the compilation dripping with dubby chords, atmospheric guitar & tension building strings with ‘Easy Morning’, which is followed by ‘Caidance’ with the guitar heavy soundtrack-esque floor shaker ‘Falls Creek’ to round off the organic opening to the compilation.

‘Elefant Doc & Dillard’ start the Dubwise vibes in ‘Ona Run Dub’. ‘Nightmare & Oni’ follow up this with their first track on the label bringing us the room shaking ‘Souljah Stance’. Dubstep legends ‘L-Wiz’ step up to round off this vibe with their musical journey ‘Easier To Lie’.

‘Requake’ & ‘Mambele’ remind us of their contribution to the 2014 4/20 compilation with the brand new VIP version of ‘Karamel’. This one is seriously heavy!

‘The Widdler’ treats us with the sonic adventure ‘Champagne’ bringing his signature arps, flutes & drum shuffles together in a unique way for this jazzy roller.

It was a pleasure to play again for such a wonderful audience at Fusion Festival. Pure love! Thanks to my Anaconda Crew for skanking together on stage and big up to Jah Chalice and Dandelion Soundsystem for providing these massive soundsystems.
Unfortunately the original recording from our 2,5 hour Oakin x Anaconda set was heavily distorted. Because of the strong vibes and the tradition to release my Fusion set I decided to re-record my part of the set back in a session at home.

Following his debut EP release earlier this year, Nuremberg newcomer Oakin delivers a set of big, dubby bass tracks for Surfase Records on the Danish label’s 39th release.

Oakin - stay positive

The aim was to record a mix full of positive and uplifting music. I started this session with some chilled and jazzy Dubstep beats and  it ended up with some of my all time favorite Electronica, 2 step and Post-Dubstep tunes. I didn’t expected this myself but you just have to go with the flow ;) I like the result. And I hope you like it too!

It was a big honour to play at the Fusion Festival because it is my favourite festival and it was a great feeling to be a part of it. Moreover it was the longest set I have ever played in front of an audience and one of my most intensive musical expierences. I was just going with the flow playing some of my all time favourites, some new tunes and some tunes which fitted perfectly into the moment.
