In a far-off kingdom, there lived a Witch Queen who ruled with an iron fist. She was feared by all, and many people whispered stories about her dark magic and cruelty. One day, a brave hero named Oakly decided that he could no longer stand idly by and watch as the queen terrorized her subjects. With his sword in hand and his heart full of determination, he set out on a quest to confront the witch queen and put an end to her reign of terror.

After a long and treacherous journey, Oakly finally arrived at the witch queen's castle. The queen laughed when she saw him, thinking that he was no match for her dark magic. But Oakly stood his ground, and with a mighty swing of his sword, he managed to strike the queen with a powerful blow. The witch queen screamed in fury and agony as she was sent off into Oblivion, never to be seen or heard from again. With the witch queen defeated, the people of the kingdom could finally live in peace, and Oakly became known as a hero who saved them from a terrible fate.

We are excited to announce the latest release from Oakly, the highly anticipated drum and bass EP featuring the tracks “Witch Queen" and "Oblivion." This release showcases Oakly's signature sound, blending hard-hitting drums with melodic synth lines and atmospheric soundscapes.

The lead track, "Witch Queen," is a haunting tribute to the evil ruler who once terrorized the kingdom. The pulsing beats and eerie vocal samples create a sense of foreboding, while the driving bassline will keep listeners moving. "Oblivion," on the other hand, is a more introspective track, with its ethereal pads and cascading arpeggios. Oakly found his love for drum & bass through artists like Spor, Pendulum and Sub Focus 15 years ago. When he later discovered the darker side of dnb and neurofunk, he knew immediately that this is the sound he wants to push forward. At that time Oakly was mostly known as a hard dance producer and DJ Substanced, but he quickly started to get recognition as a dnb DJ too.

Nowadays Oakly still keeps representing neurofunk and darker drum & bass in Finland. Several years of hard work in the studio have also upped his game in producing. His style has a lot of influences from horror and scifi media, and he keeps pushing his sound forward with every release. Oakly has released tracks on Bass Rabbit, 'Neurofunk, what else', Close 2 Death, Venom Shroud, Shell Shock Recordings and of course Breaking Point.
