I did a Cool Drug and a friend jammed aphex twin down my throat... he was super impressed by the drums, but I didn't think it would be all that difficulty to do.... the hard part on my end would be caring enough about it to make them non-repeating... basically all of this is bullshit dumb garbage joke to me.

I wrote this song probably in 2002 then transferred it into Reason... it was actually one of the first things I did with Reason, and using it to see how much better than instrument patches were ultimately lead me to buying Reason... blahblahblah

Says Goodbye

I recorded my friends upright piano when I was house-sitting... I recorded my room-mates music box, then cut individual notes to form my own patch.... some of the notes have our furnace running and cat meowing in them... I thought that was really neat.

Should Swelling Occur

The best song I ever wrote when I was a youngster musicians... to this day I'm surprised I wrote the melody... the pizzicato strings came from a guitar line, and I built everything off of that.

Some Day And Counting

One of the first couple songs I wrote relying exclusively on my piano abilities.... I showed it to a girl I was in a band with, and she listened to like 15 seconds and went "meh", at which point I lost a lot of interest in drumming behind her as the FrontPerson.

Square One

This was the get-go point for all my songs about Cool Great Dream... I had actually been struggling to write something that really captured the essence for a year or two... and after this, the rest of it came pretty smoothly... I had words for this, but I only remember the chorus... that's the important part anyway.

This song is about salvia, and the title is a reference to a poem that I thought was really great in high school.... I am basically in love with the lead of this song... I get chills when the low part & high part switch volumes.

I wrote a song, exported the MP3, and then when I went back to the source file it was corrupt and had to re-write it entirely based on the MP3.... I'm always gonna feel like no matter how close this is, it's not as good as the first one.

Take Me To The Sin Factory

I had the beat and bassline looped, and then was manually clicking on scratch sample previews and they lined up so well I made a piano pitch with the full samples as individual notes and wrote this thing that I like alot.
